I have really wide feet and even the wide width was a bit tight, but I expected that. I used the wooden shoe stretchers (which I highly recommend for those with wide feet) with a bit of alcohol and left them to stretch. After a few days, the break in process where they mold to my feet was only a few hours. I love these shoes--and everyone else does, too. I teach and the kids think they're old school cool.

I may be biased but I've always loved this shoe style. No strings, easy to slip on and low maintenance. The quality of the leather is outstanding and so is the craftsmanship. I purchased 2 pairs of the same shoe; one black and one brown. This review is for both. The black fit perfectly but the brown was smaller than the size printed and the color was a dark brown when I was expecting a redish-brown. I kept both shoes because the brown wasn't so small that I needed to return it. Natural leather expands a bit with use so I'm confident the brown will become perfect too with a little bit of use. But most importantly, is the expeditious service provided by the Zappos shipping team and Zappos as a whole. I look forward to using Zappos again soon and would not hesitate to recommend Zappos to colleagues and friends. Regards.

Super Soft Shoe -
Sebago Bolton is made with the softest buttery leather I have ever felt. Totally comfortable and molds to your foot. The sole reminds me of an athletic shoe and I had problems feeling comfortable in it at first.

Finally a decent fit!
For someone who was in the shoe business back in my college days, one thing I've learned is that sizes vary depending on the last, style and manufacturer. These were no exception. I usually wear a size 8.5 D. Cole Haan shoes are the only shoes that I have ever bought that are consistent. The 8.5's in these Sebagos were too wide and long. I sent them back and tried a half size smaller, and they were more than perfect. That would be my only recommendation. Order a half size smaller.

Be sure and get a pair in every color!
I can't say enough good things about this shoe! I first got the brown and fell in love - put it right on and didn't even feel like I had shoes on! The next day I ordered the red and wore them all night at home instead of putting slippers on! So - I'm ordering an EXTRA pair of my favorite colors to make sure I have a pair in reserve - however - these shoes are made so well; I'm sure it will be a long time before I wear them out - This casual shoe is absolutely the best! Thanks Zappos for carrying such a wide variety of shoes - and making shopping so easy - some weeks my UPS man delivers Zappos every day ... Every shoe manufacturer should make their product in wide widths - I'm sure Zappos could give them a nice list of how many folks need wide comfortable shoes!

Problem at the heel - I have been wearing this pair of shoes for 18 months. Looks good, feels good. However, there is a squeaking sound from the right side heel recently. The annoying noise comes out from every step. I plan to have heel repair and see any improvement.

All in all great shoe. I am an avid runner, I love trail running, and these shoes are great for this! I bought them my exact size (7.5) and they fit perfectly. I like my shoes snug, but not tight. They are light weight and grip nicely. I did get blisters on my "bigger" foot after five miles, the first time wearing them. Not a single one after that. Well worth the price. And Zappos has PERFECT customer service, AS USUAL!

Loose heels -
This is my second pair - long wearing, outlasts at least two soles. Lasts long enough that I forgot about the heel falling off the first pair within weeks until the second pair heel cushion fell off the second day of wear. Once fixed a nice comfortable shoe. Could use a little more arch support.

Ordered 10-1/2 4E, was shipped 10-1/2 3E. I didn't notice it until a couple days after wearing them that the wrong size was shipped. I'm GLAD they did, because the 3E fit perfect and comfortable right out of the box. Will buy another color of the same shoe soon.

Looks nice, however, fit and comfort was not. Unable to wear, ordered 8.5 like all my other shoes and the Sebago 8.5 was too small. Exchanged for a size 9 and it was entirely too loose. Have to return.

Great Comfort Shoe -
This is a very comfortable shoe. I have worn it with and without socks and they’re great. There is no break in time. The leather is very soft. It does run a little large, but I added an arch support (needed if you do a lot of walking) and the fit is great.

I purchased the Sebago Cayman II shoes to replace two pair of the same shoes which I have owned for over 15 years, and were beginning to show some wear and tear. The style and look of the Cayman II make them suitable to wear for dress or casual occasions.

Best Penny I've owned.
I've been wearing pennies for over 20 years and all different brands...Johnston Murphy, Rockport, Weejuns, Florsheim. I feel that these are the best from style to comfort. Took a little to break in at first. I have wide feet with a very high instep and the 3E was perfect.

The loafer was a perfect fit. I have not worn loafers in years due to having a narrow foot, and I could never find a pair that would fit. There was also no break in time. They are extremely comfortable.

I wear a narrow shoe and have difficulty locating correct size. This shoe fits great, true to size and extremely comfortable. I have tried a more expensive shoe (JM) but with size and comfort issues. I recommend this shoe and will buy more Sebago.

Great shoe. The bottom does not leave marks and grips are great on wet/dry surfaces. Good air vents (my feet are usually very hot all the time... main reason why I purchased this shoe). My old Sebagos that I purchased 10 years ago is still in great shape, too.
