Argus Changing Photography
Argus digital cameras are an affordable digital photography solution. The first Argus camera, the Model A, was manufactured in 1936. An overnight success, the Model A represented the first affordable, user-friendly 35mm film camera ever created. In the first week, over 30,000 cameras were sold at $12.50 each an unprecedented number even today. World-wide sales of the Model A continued until 1950. The popularity of the Model A was a large influence on Kodaks decision to switch from 126mm to 35mm film manufacturing.
The next Argus model, the Model C2 was manufactured in 1938 and was the first square-cornered, range finder cameras which were popularly referred to as the Brick. The next model, the Model C3, followed in 1939. Argus model C3 35mm camera was referenced in 1945s Fortune magazine as the reason photography became a mass pastime. The Model C3 went on to become the best-selling 35mm camera in the world for nearly three decades. During World War II and the Korean War, Argus was a leading supplier of military cameras, binoculars, periscopes and gun sights.
Today, Argus products include a wide array of digital cameras and video products. Digital cameras such as the Quick Clix DC-5195 and DC-3185 have made digital photography affordable to the average consumer without sacrificing quality. Argus takes decades of industry knowledge and applies that knowledge to create cost-friendly digital camera solutions. Just like the Model C3, Arguss goal is to make digital photography something everyone can easily and affordably enjoy. Enjoy your photos. Enjoy Argus digital cameras.

 | | Dear customer service guys: I wanted to say how awesome your staff is. I've dealt with several via phone doing some shoe shopping, and they're always, always, always cheerful and they personalize the conversation. Your staff seems to enjoy their work and makes shopping online/exchanging via phone a breeze. The VIP overnight shipping is great too, but I could do without that as long as your staff continued their positive, personal service to customers. Thanks so much to whoever trains your staff...you've obviously got great staff training programs and great managers/supervisors. Thanks again!!! | | ~ Elizabeth H., November 08 2009
