Who Moved My Cheese?
It's never too late to teach an old dog, or mouse, a new trick! Great book! I was burying my head in the sand when I was asked to read "Who Moved My Cheese?" during Zappos training. This book is a very easy read, but really hits home. It woke me up and I realized that just because your life has changed, it doesn't mean it has ended there!

It's all about finding new cheese!
I read this book during my first week of training and loved it so much I made my kids read it, too. It is simply written, yet conveys deep wisdom. After reading the book, I am constantly looking for ways to find new cheese and enjoy the search.

I want to be a "Fred" -
I am an employee at Zappos. Very easy to read book about a postal employee who made it his concern that all the people on his route would be serviced to the best of his ability. He found out what jobs they had, if they traveled, he made sure their mail was taken care of by letting the people on his route know how he handled their mail if they were gone or in the hospital, etc. He spoke to them in public and asked about their daily lives. Out of deep concern he did these things, not for reward. The people on his route were always aware of his care with their mail. An enlightening story that makes you want to do better.

Must read for people who question the norm -
Am an employee of Zappos and used this book as a "Walk In Your Shoes" as I had it at home for a while and needed to be motivated to read it. Am so glad I did. The author(s) think outside the box and instead of statistics you read stories about how things changed in history (i.e. the rate of crime dropping not because of more police or stringent laws but because of the roe abortion laws allowing women the freedom to not give birth). Thus, people who might have been prone to crime were not born, thus lower crime. Read it. Many interesting stories.

Best Book Ever!
As an employee at Zappos, I take great pride when I write my annual entry for our Culture Book. I would recommend that everyone take a look and see how Zappos has made changes in all of our lives, customers and employees alike. It's exciting to see so many people excited about the same thing, and it's not a billion dollars! :) You never know, reading about our Culture may make you step back and take a look at your own life to see if there are any changes that you could make to Wow your own family and friends! Enjoy!

Awesome Book!
This book is very easy to read. It's a quick read and yet very insightful. You get an inside look at yourself and others without delving into deep psychology. I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking to find out what kind of person they really are...or at least what kind of mouse!

Stick to this book -
As a Zappos employee, I have all of these books at my disposal, and out of all of the ones that I have read thus far, Made to Stick has stuck to me the most. It is an easy read, has a good flow, and presents an argument that only makes sense to anyone in any industry. This is stuff that you can use at any age and in any profession!

Love this book! When I was in college I was asked to read Who Moved My Cheese? I never imagined then how this book would apply to my career and life until much later. Reading this book again was a great reminder of how important it is to embrace and drive change everyday. It's an easy read and highly recommend!

Fascinating book -
Freakonomics shows that economics is a powerful tool for fun! With oddball questions like "Do sumo wrestlers cheat?" and "Why do drug dealers still live with their moms?" Levitt sheds light on the validity of conventional wisdom. Levitt himself is an out-of-the-box thinker and after you've read this book, you will begin to ask yourself some off-the-wall questions too.

Stick is always better!
"Made to Stick" is a great read that I have found very helpful in my work at Zappos.com. As a manager, a salesman, and a trainer, the case studies and techniques in this book have become an integral part of my daily activities. This book showed me how to tailor my communication skills toward set goals of response and to the specific audience. I would highly recommend this book.
