Issey Miyake is a designer from Hiroshima, Japan who founded the Miyake Design Studio in Tokyo in 1970. In 1973 Issey Miyake began showing his line at the Paris Collections. Issey Miyake’s designs are created with the idea that a garment should be made from one piece of cloth. Miyake’s designs are simple yet with artistic and ingenious qualities.
