All about Hunter
If you want a place where people appreciate the benefits of a well-fitting, waterproof boot, Scotland seems a natural choice. Mr. Henry Lee Norris most certainly thought so when he set up shop with his master boot makers back in 1856. Originally, Hunter rain boots were designed for traversing Scotland’s rugged terrain and combating its unpredictable weather. Fantastic Shoes -
Bought these shoes for a wedding, haven't worn them yet but have been walking around the house. They feel and look fantastic!!! And they are sooooo comfortable even though I do not wear high heels anymore. Just love these shoes, can't wait to wear them on Sat. Thank you Zappos for prompt service, ordered them late Friday night, they were here on Monday morning. I will be back.

My twins look great in these - I got a pair of Hunter boots last year for my twins and was so happy with them. This year I bought them another pair and they even wear them around the apt. They must be very comfy and they look great with everything and most importantly they are waterproof, plus they come in great colors. Your kids will love these stylish boots.

I love my Hunter welly boots from Zappos. The black color looks great with nearly everything. I wore them with the fleece Hunter sock inside while walking through puddles during a major storm and my feet were perfectly warm and dry. They look cute with skinny jeans tucked in or paired with a casual dress.

These boots are just great. Size was exact. Surprised that the boot came all the way up the knee area. Great comfort and style. Shouldn't get lost with the bright red color. I waited too long to purchase such a great fitting boot.

Very substantial boots!
Not only did Kate Moss make these famous when she sloshed around in them at a muddy music festival in the U.K. a few years back, but they are heavy, durable and surely will get you to those Chicago bus stops on a snowy morning before work.

Love these! I listened to all of the online reviews & ordered an entire size smaller -- I'm normally a size 8, ordered the U.S. size 7. Good thing I did --- they fit perfectly.

These rubber rain boots fit beautifully, and they are so cozy -- but they look awful. When I took them out of the box and exclaimed they looked like they'd been run over by a truck, my son replied, "No, Mom, just a motorcycle." I called Zappos, who immediately sent me a return label and a replacement pair, but the replacement pair are actually sticky. The box itself looks like someone stomped on it. Both pair are going back.

Good buy -
Got one size smaller, following advice of previous reviewers, and it fit great. I wore the boots for the first time yesterday with a skirt and rain coat and it looked great and I even enjoyed getting out in the rain. I want to give the insert socks a shot when my size becomes available.

Love My New Hunters!
These are boots that I had admired from afar for a couple of seasons, unsure if they would be comfy, and with no place locally to try them on. I finally just ordered them and THEY ARE GREAT. Good-looking, practical and very comfortable. I agree that one should order his or her usual size, rather than sizing up. I wear an 8 or 8.5 in most shoes, ordered an 8 in these, and they fit beautifully!

Loved the boots but they were too big. I bought a 10 (women's) which is what I always wear and my foot was sliding around inside the boot. Had to send it back.

I wear a size 10 and wanted a boot that was oversized, comfortable and easy to pull on and off. I ordered the 10 and it's a perfect fit. I live in Chicago so bring on the snow!

Great boot - stylish and functional!!
I had to exchange my pair for a size larger. I went too small (normally wear a 7 or 7.5 and ordered a 6). BUT - I love the chocolate color - can go with anything! And I think I will be able to squeeze some skinny jeans in even though I don't have the thinnest calves. Love the look! Let the rain come!

LOVED the boots, but too small on the calf -
I fell in love with these boots when I saw them in a magazine, but unfortunately my calves would not comfortably fit inside these stylish little gems. However, like is said elsewhere on the reviews, the shoe sizing does indeed run large. I usually wear a US 8.5-9 and the Lady N's US 8 had plenty of room to spare. I had a pleasant experience exchanging these boots for the Huntress (wider cut) and hope that they will fit.

I usually order boots a size larger than my normal size because I like to wear a heavy sock with boots. This boot fit great in my normal size even with the heavy sock.

I recently purchased these awesome Hunter boots and I LOVE THEM! I have big calves and am short, so finding rain boots that actually fit has been a chore that I just about gave up on. I had ordered all the Hunter styles to try, even the Huntress, wide calf ones but none of them fit me. So I waited for these to come out and when they did, I snapped up a pair. The calf fits almost perfectly. They could be a bit wider at the top, but other than that, they are super comfy and look great with jeans and skirts. They feel a bit roomier than my normal size 6, so wearing thick socks will help. I highly recommend these. They are the originals after all. And thanks Zappos for being so efficient. I got these in less than 24 hours! Great service!

My boots arrived today. The light lining makes them easy to slide off and on, and light enough for warmer summer rain conditions. Paired with a heavy winter sock, they will be fabulous for a moderate winter. I typically wear an 8 1/2 and ordered a 9 at first, but that turned out to be too large, and far too wide. As some reviewers stated, the shorter height is much more appropriate with someone like me at a height of 5'4''. The quality of these boots is fantastic, but I may need arch support. The men's Festival short also offers a wider calf, and taller height than the women's version. Enjoy your shopping at Zappos, great Hunter quality is worth every penny.

I have been wanting a pair of hunter boots for quite a while now and decided to just bite the bullet and buy them. I am soooo glad I did - I absolutely LOVE them!! They are so comfortable and so cute!! I wear a 7 in boots, so bought a 6 and they fit perfectly. I rec'd them the next day too - which was awesome!! I highly recommend them!!

Love my Hunters!
I love these shoes! I got them just in time for a bunch of rain in the fall. They do get that waxy coating on them, but supposedly it just wipes off. I haven't tried because it doesn't really bother me. I find these much classier than the shorter, patterned rain boots. They have kept my feet very dry. Order a size smaller than usual. I usually wear 9s and the 8s were perfect.

I love this shoe - perfect for rainy days and also winter with a thick sock underneath. I recommend caution when reading all of the reviews about sizing down on this shoe. I wear a 9 and ordered both an 8 and a 9. Ultimately, I chose to keep the 9. I believe they are supposed to be a little loose, as a rainboot. Also, this leaves room for a sock. Both felt loose through the foot, but the 8 was more difficult to remove. If you are a half size, I would recommend sizing down. But, if you are a whole size, I would suggest ordering your regular size.

Great boot!
I needed a new boot for gardening in Seattle. The fit is great. Ordered my normal size, 7 1/2 and it fits just right with addition of a moderately cushy sock. I think of this more of a garden shoe, but can certain pair it with jeans for a cute casual look. Got the dark olive - great neutral color with jeans or anything else. Also like the look of the mid-calf style.

Everyone should own a pair of these boots! The sizing comments on here were correct - I usually wear a 7 so I ordered a 6 and they fit perfect :) We've had quite a bit of rainy weather lately and these have been so fantastic when I have to walk the dog - easy to slip on and off! I can't say enough good things about these boots and Zappos too - I ordered the boots on a Sunday and got them only a few days later even though I opted for the standard slow delivery! I'm buying all my shoes from Zappos from now on...probably a few more of these Wellie boots too!
