The Rangoni shoe company was founded on the bottom floor of a two story house in the city of Florence, Italy in 1933. Amalfi comfort -
This shoe is very comfortable. I have a narrow, very hard-to-fit foot & these fit surprisingly well. I did need a half size larger than usual, though.

I wear either an 8 or 8 1/2 W. I ordered these in 8 1/2W. Way too narrow, not for a wide foot. The knot at the top of the shoe also rubbed on the top of my foot. Put them on and knew immediately I'd be sending them back. If you haven't ordered from Zappos before don't hesitate. Their shipping, return policies are the best!!

Not for me!
Narrower than marked, very unflattering design- made the foot look odd and wide. Looks cute in the photo, but they look like a granny type slipper in person- so disappointed- was really hopeful!

This much for a stretch fabric shoe?
I was a little disappointed by the look of this shoe, especially based on the other glowing reviews. Considering the price, they looked a little cheap - more like slightly high-end Aerosoles or something. Also, I ordered the wide and they were definitely too narrow on me. The length seemed fine though. As far as comfort, there is zero arch support. Considering the wedge styling, some kind of arch support should be easy to add.

Like most Amalfis, this shoe is fabulously comfortable, but I was extremely disappointed with the Fusca's fabric. For one thing, it was very artificial looking - too shiny. Worse, however, was the way it started to wrinkle after I wore it twice. I have always loved Amalfis, but I'm distressed to notice how much the quality of the materials being used for them has deteriorated over the last few years.

Really loved this shoe. I have "issues" with my feet and this shoe was very comfortable. Wore it all day at a convention with no problem. Good looking shoe.

Color comes off on your socks and hose -
This was a 7W shoe. It felt a lot narrower than a wide as after an hour or so my toes which were cramped began to hurt and go numb. When I got home and took them off black polish was on my hose from the flap or tassel area. I wore them again a second time and they still feel tight and hurt after an hour and this time there was black stains on my pastel socks.
This shoe looks really nice with pants, but has some problems.

Good looking shoe to wear with pants...Very cushioned sole with arch support. If you have a narrow foot, this is an excellent purchase.

What a great surprise to find this shoe. It fits well and is comfortable for airport traveling, and looks great. I have lousy feet and generally nothing is comfortable after walking through an airport, but this one is great!

Great comfort and support -
I tried this shoe along with three others preparing for a trip with lots of walking. I bought them a 1/2 size larger than my usual based on feedback. I liked them from the start; they are well made and very nice leather. I got some break in time before the trip then spent 4 days walking all over. They have just enough arch support, good cushioning and sufficient sole for slippery wet streets. Amalfi made a winner with this and I will look for other shoes in this brand. The looks are certainly better than a track shoe, but you might feel like you are wearing one!

I loved the look of this shoe! Ran true to size for me. Not enough support for my right foot which is weakened due to injury and arthritis. Looked sensational on my left foot. Regretfully, I must return it.

Amalfi is exceptionally comfortable and really handsome. It has a lovely cushioned innersole and fit like a glove from the first. I wish more shoes fit my size 12's in this manner. Congrats to the manufacturers on this one. Many compliments when wearing it, great with trousers, and suits...

Sleek loafer -
Nice-looking loafer, if a little short. Sleek and simple with pants and jeans. Not cheap, but gives relatively good support (hard to find in a loafer) and fits my narrow heel well. Overall, look and feel are worth the price.

I really like everything about this shoe, but I think this shoe runs at least a half size smaller than marked. It is a beautiful shoe, and very well-made. This shoe is more elegant and better constructed than some that cost $300 to $500. I'll buy these in navy also.

Great shoes -
I have both Rangoni and Amalfi shoes. The combination, in style, is more Rangoni.
These shoes are very comfortable and, for the type of style, very good looking.
Size is true -- mine are 8 AA.
I had the shoe maker put a thin innersole in the front because my heels are really AAA. But few shoes make triple now (Rangoni used to).

Definitely order wide and a half size up!
I took the advice of previous purchasers of this shoe and ordered a half size up and ordered it in wide. This did the trick. If you have a wide foot to begin with, I would not recommend this shoe. This shoe does not slide on easily, but it does have a nice fit once it is on. The first time I wore the shoe I wore it for more then 8 hours. No blisters and my feet did not hurt at all.

I love this shoe!
The Amalfi is a great-looking shoe, and super comfortable as soon as you put it on. The little wedge and platform give it some style and height without being too high for comfort or safety. I can wear socks with this; it's good for all day!

I could have danced all night -
I really needed a jumbo, narrow, dressy, low heeled, comfortable shoe. That's all... This is lovely. For a dress shoe, it's comfy. Not marshmallowy nice like my Clarks, but it fills the bill for a dress shoe. I lusted after Bijou by Taryn Rose. This looks as nice.
