I ordered the Pacsafe for an upcoming trip to Barcelona. The size looks right for carrying my daily essentials as well as using it as a carryon. The safety factors give me peace of mind. Having the ability to clip the zipper so no prying hands can open it makes me feel more secure. I also like the idea of not being able to slash the bottom or handles. This looks like a good travel bag in all. The back two pockets should be revised into one larger one. You could then put a book or map in it. The size is rather awkward now.

Great Idea -
This bag is just what I needed. It protects my helmet from the rain and secures it from interested eyes. Many Pacsafe products come with small key padlocks. I prefer small brass combination locks. Those are easily purchased anywhere. All of the Pacsafe products are worth the time, effort, and money to obtain and use.

I purchased the back for the security. It would be great for any application. It exceeded my expectations related to design, function, and construction.
It looks great on the Harley, but doesn't fit the accessories I have. I'll use the bag for other purposes.

The perfect day-pack!!!
I love my new Pacsafe. The size is perfect, the safety features are great, and it folds fairly flat for storage or putting in your suitcase. I absolutely love the fact that it is lined in taupe so that things are easy to find. Lastly, one of the straps unclips so you can secure it while eating or on long train or bus trips where you might be sleeping. No more eating meals in a crowded restaurant with your daypack in your lap!!! As always, the service at Zappos was superb. All of you involved with Zappos do a great job.

I bought this to use as a carry on bag for an overnight international flight. I had it loaded with a journal, pen case, book, clear plastic quart bag with toiletries, snacks, cardigan, sunglasses, slippers, eye mask, cell phones, camera and all the chargers, wallet, water bottle and miscellaneous purse items. It was very comfortable to carry around on my very long layover and fit underneath the seat in front of me with no problem. Will definitely be using this again on my next flight.

Great travel bag! I purchased this bag for a recent trip to Rome. I wanted something roomy with some measure of security. It has very good internal organization, although I would rather have had another media pocket than the credit card slots. I was able to fit a moleskin, large marker case, camera, cell phone, maps, travel book, wrap, sunglasses, wallet and miscellaneous small purchases and it never felt too bulky. Externally, I used the elastic side pocket for either my water bottle or sunglasses case, depending on the situation. The smaller pocket on the other side held tissues but it's large enough to fit a compact umbrella. It would have been more useful if both sides were the larger elastic pocket. The two small pockets on the back were great for maps, lip balm, tickets, etc. I never worried about security even in crowds as the zipper clip is quite difficult to get into even when you know what you're doing. Gets easier with practice though. All in all it did a great job and has become my new "go to" travel bag.

Great bag for travel - Having been robbed without even knowing it in a crowded subway in Madrid several years ago, I have always been searching for a bag that is secure enough, even though I am always on the alert. This bag does it! Travel this summer included a place where you just don't want to wear a fanny pack for your cameras as that cries "tourist." The CitySafe 200 allowed me to have my professional camera and separate zoom lens safely inside, along with other important items. I highly recommend it, and it's not a bad looking bag. Better than some "safe and secure" bags that I have seen. Just keep your wits about you whenever you travel or for that matter at home too!

I love the bag, but it is a little too stiff due to the “uncuttable” wire that is in the strap. After you wear it a little while it pulls on you. Am hoping that after time it will loosen a little.

The Pacsafe's features are exactly as promised in the product description. The locking zipper – GREAT. The slim pockets on the interior side panel are perfect for pens and you don't have to empty the bag to find something to write with. I'm very pleased with the materials and construction of this bag. The pockets on the interior make organization easy.

I LOVE THIS TOTE! I've never had a tote/purse that I've loved so much. Everything has a place and it stays organized. It holds absolutely everything I always carry, things that used to get lost in my other purses because they were on top of each other, and now I can find them easily. The tote is lightweight and just the right size. I used it for a trip to NYC and decided to use it every day. I love it! Can't say it enough. The safety features are pretty neat too (locking zipper, detachable strap to hook around a chair or shopping cart). Buy this! You won't be sorry. I also agree with others that the outside pockets are kind of useless (too small), but I keep small seldom-used items in them.

Great bag - perfect size for day trip -
My 15 year old daughter and I just got back from a two-week trip to Europe. We each had one of these bags and found them to be the perfect size for a day trip. They were big enough to hold a sweater, guide books, sunscreen, sunglasses and hat - with a bottle of water and an umbrella in the outside pockets. Plus, the styling fit in well in Europe - it didn't scream "tourist". The security features came in very handy... as two women traveling alone, I think we looked like "easy" targets. Once we even felt the bag being messed with. Another time, the flaps were flipped up as if someone had tried to open it and one day we were trailed by two young men who we heard say "it's sealed". We felt MUCH safer with these bags. I would recommend keeping the brochure that comes with the bag inside it. Security in Italy questioned the wires that were visible on xray, but luckily the supervisor who was called over had seen one of these before. After that, the security crew stopped to admire it! Later at the Paris airport, the xray scan operator thought he saw a pair of scissors, which was the steel mesh. Sure, wearing it all day can make your back sweaty, but no more so than any other backpack. I would definitely recommend these bags and plan to use mine for a long time!

A great daypack -
I originally purchased the Patagonia Pocketwire from Zappos, but three days later I happened to be in a travel store and spotted the Pacsafe backpack. The Patagonia bag was returned and now the Pacsafe is in my possession. Having endured too many "my shoulders are so sore!" from carrying a large tote on my day trips, I finally decided to buy a backpack instead. Backpacks always remind me of my school years, but the Pacsafe doesn't look like a normal book bag (and thus it doesn't scream "tourist" or "hiker" like other packs do.) The material is great - smooth and like a thick silk - lots of compartments and I like the side vent pockets, which are great for a water bottle and umbrella. Although I loved the light tan and sage color I saw in the store, I opted for the black because I use it for both winter and summer trips. The Pacsafe, however, lacks two items the Patagonia bag had: 1) there is no mesh, so your back does get sweatier and 2) the straps aren't as comfortable. But, overall, there will be many happy future travels with this pack.

Handy travel purse -
This is an extremely well made bag. The hands free ability worked well for me. It has several compartments that made it easy to stay organized. I felt my cash and credit cards were very safe.
The only negatives would be:
1) The fabric did start to fray a little on the bottom by the end of my trip. It's not a big deal, but thought I should mention it.
2) Just a little bit bigger would have worked better for me. The side pockets were not quite big enough for water bottles. If either the width or length was increased by an inch, it would have helped me tremendously.
Zappos was awesome. They are one of the few companies that still care about giving the BEST service. I ordered the bag on Saturday and it got to my home in the middle of nowhere Texas on Monday. Outstanding!

I wanted to like this, but it just looked a little too much like a diaper bag for me and was a little "stiff". Very well made and seems like it would be very durable. For the dimensions, I thought the large inside area seemed a little small. Also, didn't like the two small zippered pockets on the outside - I think other reviews have mentioned this. They're very small and hard to get your hand into; one large zippered pocket on the outside would be more useful to me.

I just used this bag for a 2 week trip to Ireland and found it very useful and well designed. It turned out to be a bit too small for this type of trip because I took a raincoat and light jacket everyday for the cool, changeable weather. I tied my raincoat to the shoulder strap as it would not fit in the bag. I agree with other reviewers that the 2 outside zipper pockets should be changed to one large pocket to put maps in. I loved the light colored interior with all the different pockets. The outside bottle holder could be a bit larger - I had a bit of a struggle to get the bottle in each time. I only gave it 4 stars for looks because I would have liked some kind of decorative detail.

Perfect for my trip to Paris!
This purse was exactly what I needed for my recent trip to Paris. I was able to carry my Palm T/X and my Motorola Razr cell phone in it as well as a slim credit card/money holder and several other things. I liked the fact that the strap was easy to snap on and off so that I could slip my small camera bag strap onto it and carry them together hands free. It was very comfortable over my shoulder and I felt very secure - luckily I did not run into any pickpockets, but I am sure it would have been safe if I had.

This bag was absolutely perfect for my trip to Paris. When filled, it can become heavy, but it will hold a lot! It may not be leather, which is what I was originally looking for, but it is water resistant, which I find very convenient during the rainy season here in South Florida. I like it so much I've been carrying it everyday since I got back home from my trip, and it's been six weeks!

Took this pack to Rome, Italy and it was fantastic. Loved the anti-theft features as we met many tourists who had been pick pocketed. Rome is notorious for this. Truly felt my credit cards, camera, passports and cash were safe. Security never an issue with this bag and it looks good as well! Plan to use for smaller trips around our city.

Fantastic bag -
This great bag is just the right size, not too big and not too small. I have traveled extensively in the past few months: Paris, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Atlanta, all without incident. Nicely organized on the inside too, with cell phone area that fits the blackberry nicely, zippered pockets, key holder and side openings for easy to find items.

A Fortress Of A Bag, But Not A Fashion Statement -
I bought this bag to take with me on my 2-week trip to Paris, Brussels & London. The security features on this bag made me feel so much safer than if I had carried around a normal purse. The bag was large enough to fit a compact umbrella, travel guide book, slim wallet, passport, pens, notebook, cell phone... and had room to spare (I just chose not to fill it to the brim). The bag doesn't have a bottom panel, so it doesn't "stand up" well if you set it down, but that wasn't a problem for me. The strap is very versatile (I wore it crossed over my body, but could have shortened the strap to keep over one shoulder), but the plastic clamp (the plastic thing you slide to adjust the length of the strap) can get uncomfortable if it rests on your shoulder or back. That was my only comfort complaint. The fabric seems waterproof and can be easily wiped down if something spills on it. The look of the bag is sporty - not very fashionable though. I bought the tan bag and it complemented my wardrobe, but it is definitely a casual purse. Good for everyday use and for traveling. Not good for a dressy night out. Overall, this is a very functional bag and I plan on using this bag for every trip I take or wherever I don't want to take my nicer purses with me (like concerts or to an outdoor event).

Excellent travel bag!
This amazing bag survived 16 days in 5 countries. It held everything securely and I loved how the roomy main compartment locked shut, but could be easily opened when you know how to do it. Even if a pickpocket knew what to do, you'd sense it happening. Genius design. I felt at all times that my belongings were safe. The 2 side pockets held bottled water and mini umbrellas. How nice to not have them in hand and yet close at hand! The back pocket, which has a place to hide the zipper pull, was great for ticket stubs, boarding passes, etc. When worn with the strap across your chest, it lies flat and looks stylish. The hubby even wore it a couple of times and still looked manly. The Choco Brown bag with a black strap meant that I could wear it with either jeans or a dressier black outfit. Despite the built-in anti-slash mesh, it was light and comfortable. I wore it all day long - we're talking 8+ hours of walking each day - and it was never a burden. If you're traveling anywhere and want a functional, yet stylish bag, this is the bag to buy! I expect to use it at home and on many future trips.

Love this Pac!
I took this on my recent trip to Vietnam and fell in love with it. You can get so much stuff in it and the design is terrific - with lots of compartments to organize stuff so you can find it. The wide opening is great and it sat so comfortably on my back. I can't say enough good things about it. I've been using it around town and am taking it with me to Ireland in a few weeks. Don't know how I lived without it! :)

Cool backpack -
I bought this for my trip to Europe and it worked out very well. If you lock up those zippers, there's no way for pick pockets to get into your backpack without taking it off your back!!
The shoulder straps are very comfortable too. Nicely padded. I was able to fit two bottles of sparkling wine into the pack, carry it around town, and not feel burdened by it (and they are bigger bottles, typically).
It's a very cool looking pack, sleek, different than most you've seen.
I was able to fit my Sony Vaio 15.4" notebook into it as well (sideways) so that's a huge plus!
The only complaint, and it's very minor, is the magnetic closure flap on the outside. It's pretty and also sleek, but it takes a little mushing around to get it into place, especially if your pack isn't full. Since it's magnetic, it's not that big of a deal and I would still buy this again.
