My son wanted this pair of shoes in the worst way. (Oh Mom, they look like skateboarder shoes!) Well, he wore them 3 times! Not sure the reason, but he will not wear them. He is back to wearing his old pair of Nikes.

I think these shoes can be put in one simple word: perfect! They’re soft, don't rip too fast, and you can feel everything with each step.

These shoes are insane. They skate so well, but I do agree they leave a lot of white rubber streaks when you first skate in them. The insoles in these shoes are like an inch thick, they feel so good! But yeah they tear up easily, the black line gets rubbed off in about 2 days from kick flips, and they feel a little narrow if you have a little wider feet, but overall these are some of the best Vans you could buy for skating.

These shoes are amazing, great for skating as usual with classic vans they come with nicer insoles that you can swap out and put thicker ones in if you want. Sick looking as well. Buy these.

Vans' Saves the Day!!!!
I am so glad that someone still is interested in making a traditional canvas deck shoe!!!!!! My feet find summer unbearable without these nice dry type shoes. Since my two white and one black pair have arrived, I have worn a pair every day!!!! If they quit being made, please let me know so I can stock up for about... 30 years!!!!!

I found the Vans Mesa pretty loose in the heel area, but they are still very light and comfortable. They can be warn with socks or not and can be slipped on with the heel down.

I just ordered this shoe in my true size, 10, but will have to order a half size smaller for the right fit. These run large and even more so if you have narrow feet. They are flat and flimsy, but in the way you would expect - still pretty comfortable and they look great! They're really cute, I just wish I'd ordered the right size. GO smaller!

I Love It!!!
I got the Johnny Ramone Special Edition of the Vans Slip-On and I’m lovin’ it. It’s very comfortable and my version is unique. Slip-Ons were not my style, but I must admit it grew on me. Everyone loves it. It picks up dust easily though, so get a shoe cleaner. Big up - Zappos shipping was very fast. I got the shoe in one day instead of the four days posted. I’m returning because of that.
