 Lifetime Warranty Information

1. Native Eyewear warrants that, if your Native sunglasses ever fail for any reason during standard use, we will repair or replace your sunglasses and incur all costs to ship them back to you within the United States. To make a claim, do NOT return your Natives to the store. Stores are NOT authorized to provide service under this warranty. Instead, return your sunglasses directly to Native, along with a completed Lifetime Warranty Claim Form, Proof Of Purchase and a $30 Processing Fee.

Lifetime Warranty Claim Form
A completed claim form is REQUIRED to make a claim.
Any missing or incomplete information will VOID the processing of your claim.

Proof Of Purchase (If you do NOT have a Proof of Purchase, click here.)

Proof of Purchase is REQUIRED to make a claim and defined as follows:
o An original dated sales receipt from an Authorized Dealer clearly listing your Native purchase
OR
o The original UPC barcode from the Native sunglass box.
The following items are NOT considered proof of purchase:
o Photocopies of either receipts or UPC barcodes.
o Bank, credit card or on-line statements.
o Receipts from any NON-Authorized Dealer (Internet included).
Your original dated sales receipt and/or original UPC barcode will be returned to you with your warranty claim.
Your Proof of Purchase must match the item(s) you are returning under this warranty.

Processing fee
The $30 processing fee is REQUIRED and must be included with each pair of sunglasses returned under this warranty.
Polarized Lens Kits, purchased separately from your Native sunglasses, REQUIRE their own $30 processing fee.
Payment may be made in the form of check or money order.
All checks and money orders must be in US dollars and made payable to Native Eyewear.

2. Substitution / Discontinued Sunglasses: Before making a Lifetime Warranty claim, please visit nativeyewear.com to ensure your exact sunglasses are currently available (style name / frame & lens color combination). If your exact sunglasses are NOT currently available (discontinued), choose a new pair of sunglasses and indicate the substitution item # on your claim form. You can NOT choose a different style sunglass if your style is currently available. Simply choose a new frame & lens color combination within the style you are returning. Styles no longer Available (Discontinued):
Substitution styles:
Guru / Hexx / Streak / F-2 / Ryde / Ripp XP > Ripp / Ripp RS / Low Ryder
Nano / Nano³ > Nano²

All substitutions are final. (NO exchanges for any reason, including fit, color or personal preference.)

3. Manufacturers Defects within the First Year of Purchase: If there is a defect in the materials or workmanship within the first year of purchase, Native Eyewear will return the $30 processing fee along with the repair or replacement of your Native sunglasses.
Native Eyewear has the sole discretion to determine manufacturer's defects.
Scratched lenses are NOT a manufacturers defect.

4. Scope and Duration of the Warranty: This warranty extends only to you, the original purchaser of these Native sunglasses, and lasts for the lifetime of your Native sunglasses. I am on my third replacement set of sunglasses, each pair has lasted less than 6 month. I purchased these sunglasses several years ago, and at first I really loved them. After about 2 months the plastic pin that held the temple in place broke, and I sent them in for replacement and was charged $20. The next pair had metal pins (this tells me that Native knew that there was a problem and charged me a replacement fee for defective sunglasses). This pair lasted a little under 6 months before the frame cracked lengthwise across the right brow. I sent these in for replacement and was this time charged $30 for for replacement, despite the fact that my warranty details stated that it would cost $20. At this point I wrote Native stating just how upset I was, and requesting that they at least refund me for the replacement, they never responded. The next pair of sunglasses were non-symmetrical and didn't fit right, the right ear piece popped off when the glasses were flexed in the slightest and, in addition to that, the reflex coating scratches with even the most careful use. So far these cheap crap glasses have cost me nearly $190, I am tempted to throw in the towel and buy a pair of Smith sunglasses, they have a better warranty and seem to be more durable. Do not buy these sunglasses unless you like to give away your money!

Great sunglasses!
I finally have found a pair of great looking polarized sunglasses that fit me. I have a "flat Asian nose bridge" and its hard to find glasses that fit right. The only sunglasses that have ever worked are the Oakley "Asian Fit" line. However the styles are limited in polarized lens. The adjustable nose clips on these Native sunglasses make it able to have a perfect fit. They look very stylish and the lens makes everything look sharp and clear. I would highly recommend these sunglasses for women with that "Asian nose" that have a hard time finding glasses that fit.

Best thing for active people -
I've had these for 5 years. I wear them to paddle competitively, run, kayak, and hiking. Absolutely easy to switch between lenses and so light! The straps are perfect if you tend to lose your sunglasses. When I'm not wearing them, I just have it like a necklace. I highly recommend these. They are worth the long term investment.

This is my second pair of Native sunglasses. Excellent value and performance. I love the way they feel on, and I like that I can change lenses depending on needs. I use the clear lenses for playing squash. You will not be disappointed with this product.

Natives are great -
I'm an active canoe paddler. The polarized glasses are great on the water. They're light, vented, and look cool. I used to wear Maui Jims, but lose a pair every year on the water - expensive. Found Native glasses on vacation in Seattle two years ago. Theres no local distributor in Maui. On-line purchases is the way to go. Mahalo.

Glasses are very nice...but smaller than I expected. I gave to my daughter because of their size. She loves them. Just wish they were a better fit on my squash...and I don't have a big fat face!

Excellent Sunglasses -
These sunglasses fit very nice and are light weight. Perfect for outdoor athletics or just looking good. I bought them to run in, but don't want to "ruin" them because they look so good on.

 | | I can't thank you enough! I have always had a difficult time finding comfortable shoes because I have a very narrow foot. I now have a medical foot issue that has progressed to the point of needing to replace nearly all of my shoes with relatively flat, well-made (translation: expensive) shoes to enable me just to walk without excessive pain. Needless to say, it is difficult to know immediately if a given shoe will both fit my narrow foot and not cause a great deal of pain after an hour of wear. Your free-return policy has been a true blessing to me. It is not easy to spend $170.00 on a pair of shoes that may hurt my feet after an hour and be unwearable if those shoes cannot be returned easily. The specialty shoe store in my area is great, but they offer a limited selection and any special orders can only be returned with a 15% restocking fee. Other online shoe stores require me to pay the return shipping fee and cannot begin to match the customer service that you provide. This can get costly and time consuming when one has the type of issues I have and needs to replace an entire wardrobe of shoes with well-built shoes. I have to say, even if I did not have foot issues, Zappos would be my shoe store for the selection and great customer service alone. Additionally, you offer such quick shipping, the best customer service I have found in as long as I can remember and great selection. I am incredibly happy that I was told about Zappos. You have simplified this part of my life, and believe me, with my foot pain, that is a very large part of my life. I have written other thank you notes to Zappos as well, but I wanted to send a special note of thanks for the quick shipping. I will continue to rave about Zappos to friends and family! Thanks again, Barb D. | | ~ Barb D., September 28 2009
