The Teva-lution began in 1982, on the raging rapids of the Colorado River, when Mark Thatcher invented the first sport sandal. It was a simple idea that birthed a new industry. Selling his first pairs out of the back of his van to friends and fellow boaters along the river, Mark named his new business Teva, which means ‘Nature’ in Hebrew.
Since the creation of Teva over 20 years ago, their team has been providing authentic, outdoor performance footwear; it’s what they live for. They managed to create a perfect marriage between a boater’s flip flop and a protective, cushioned sneaker. Highly supportive yet quick drying, Teva’s sport sandals are perfect for a trip out to the river or any everyday adventure.
At Teva they not only feel strongly about their products, but also about nature and the environment. Providing positive contributions to the world is part of everything that they stand for. Teva remains committed to practicing the highest standards of progressive business practices relating to human and workers’ rights in all aspects of their manufacturing process.

Teva Dozer Clog- Mermaid 5.5 B -
Perfect fit for my "Hard to find fitted-shoes" feet. Feel comfortable with high arch support and snug tightly on top of foot. Lighter weight than I thought from seeing the picture. Although the appearance is rather funny, clunky, weird, but I'd think it makes me feel younger for a 62 year old lady. The comfort it brings me far outweighs the look! I sure hope to wear these shoes on my next trip to Thailand.
Thanks to Zappos for your speedy delivery as well.

The first pair of shoes the elastic broke the first day. Zappos had me return shoes and new shoes were at my house in two days. They look good and are so comfortable. I love them.

I got the light green ones -
I would not choose this color normally, but they were twice as cheap as the other colors. Yea! I do like them now that I have them. I used them kayaking so they got wet. Yea! After they were wet the rubbed blisters when I walked around camp. Boo!

Great shoe for everything!
This is a great shoe to have when you don't know what your plans will turn out to be -- comfort is outstanding! They fit similar to the Teva Terra-fi, so I had to exchange the 9.5 for a 9. In the Dozer, I wear a 9.5. I would like it if they were just a little narrower in the toes, if only for looks. The antimicrobial properties are very effective, and they were smell-free after a day of hiking in the heat. There is enough arch support that I do not need to wear my inserts.

Great shoe for summer -
I purchased this pair of Teva as well as another pair for a trip to Vegas for all of the walking. I really like this shoe it's cute and comfortable. I was able to wear this shoe with no problems and that is very rare for me do to with a past leg injury.

Feminine Teva -
I was pleased to finally have a more feminine looking pair of Teva’s. I've been wearing Teva’s for 15 years and always found them a bit clunky, but they last forever and are comfortable. My only gripe is these could use more arch support. Love the free next day shipping!

Love the Grip -
Grip is essential in a river environment, and the Teva Open Toachi has plenty. Teva's Spider Rubber far outpaces the soles of other sport sandals in water. Another plus of the Open Toachi is its cushy foot bed, the most comfortable I've experienced.

Comfy, snazzy shoe -
This shoe has a remarkably nice look and feel, except that it doesn't breathe quite as well as I'd like. It's great fun to walk in for miles & miles, and people stop me on the street to admire it.

Fantastic shoe - back to the "old" style -
I had my last pair of Teva's for 9 years, when they finally wore out, I tried many different pairs of Teva's, but they all seemed to have this overly thick heel and I kept feeling like I had women's heels on - all the weight was transferred to the balls of my feet. But this style is back to the "old" way - where the padding is a little less thick but not any less cushy. IMHO, there was nothing wrong with their old style of shoes and I’m glad to see someone at Teva agrees with me and has managed to hang on to this superior way of building a shoe. The flexion is perfect, while the sole gives support, it also is easy to flex (an issue with Teva's thicker styles). The looks, however, I find the grey of the sole to be kinda blechy - would rather have the sole be black. The amount of adjust-ability in the straps is very nice - everything you expect from a good Teva. I hope these will last me as long as my last ons did. It's hard to find shoes out there that will stand up to 9 years of almost constant use and punishment, but Teva stands as a model of how to make a shoe last.

Teva Terra -
I bought these in green and brown, matching my mostly brown-based clothing, and they look great with everything! They are true to size in my 9.5 medium. My toes don't hang out over the end, and the adjustable, velcro straps make adjustments easy. After a full day of wear, on the first day, I had to loosen the front strap, which goes over the ball of the big toe joint. This slight adjustment relieved the pressure and didn't cause the shoe to slip around on my foot. The heel is very comfortable, and the sole is perfect for pounding the pavement or walking in the grass in the park. A great everyday warm-weather walking shoe.

First shoe I've ever bought twice -
Adore these -- they're comfortable, match everything from skirts to beachwear to jeans, look dressier than a flip flop but feel like the most comfortable flip-flops you've ever owned. The basic black goes everywhere with me -- these plus a pair of Borns are getting me around Europe this summer. LOVE THESE SHOES. Also has great support for a flip-flop -- really shapes to your foot.

Adorable but not for me -
I love the look of these sandals, and ordered them in red. Unfortunately, I had 2 problems with them. First, I have a high instep and thick ankles. The straps adjusted to my ankles, but they left an inch or so of black velcro showing. Since the main reason I wanted them was for the cute style that just didn't work for me. Also, the strap at the toe just hits the tip of my small toe and catches it when I walk. What a disappointment because I love the look of these sandals and they seem really comfortable.

Mush lining makes these great.
These didn't feel like they had much support right out of the box, but after I wore them the "mush" started molding to my foot, which is what I was hoping for. Now they are great! I wear them as house shoes, with or without socks. The vents on top keep my feet from getting too hot like they do in slippers. And I can step outside in them too. A little weird looking, but I love them.

Great kid’s sandal -
This is a great sandal my daughter is very picky and finds many shoes uncomfortable but she likes these. She is wearing a size 13 in most shoes but we had to return the 13 and keep the size 1 it would be great if these came in half sizes but the roominess of the larger size is probably a plus for my fussy shoe girl.

Feels cool and comfortable -
The shoe is very comfortable, once it has been worn in for a couple of weeks.
The air intakes keep the foot cool and the soles don't get soggy if you sweat a lot.
Make sure you order a half size up - this shoe runs a tad small.
A great choice for hot, humid, Southern summers!

These shoes run large so order smaller size. I was amazed at how quickly the order arrived and was very pleased with the customer services of Zappos. The shoes are comfortable right away. I did a lot of walking on them while touring another country without having to break them in. I would recommend them. They are plenty wide too so you never feel cramped.

Teva Toachi review -
I bought this shoe to water jog in the pool with, since I have Plantar Fac. The shoe has great traction with the Spyder rubber and very good arch support. I wish I could adjust it tighter, but it only has three adjustments. It stays on my foot well, and is very light weight. So I'm willing to forgo the adjustment for the weight.

Teva Westwater -
Thanks to other reviews, I ordered a half size smaller and they fit perfectly. I was concerned that they were going to rub my little toes, and so to break them in, I wore them for short errands. Once "broken in" they have been so comfortable, no rubbing and I get lots of compliments. I might have to try another pair.
