Creative Recreation was launched in the fall of 2002 in order to fill a void in the footwear market. Up until this time, no one was offering footwear to young professionals with style. The three founders set out to innovate the market and were able to incorporate the comfort of an athletic shoe with the materialization of a dress shoe to create the ultimate crossbreed resulting in the Creative Recreation men’s and Creative Recreation women’s shoe collection.
Cr8tive Recreation shoes grew from the concept that this generation wasn’t going to follow the same old well-traveled roadmaps of previous times. A new journey beckoned for Creative Recreation men’s shoes and Creative Recreation women’s shoes to embrace fashion-freedom and a design approach that blurs the rules.

The shoes are good, but not top-notch in materials like the other reviewer posted. The leather is good, but not great. It creases very quickly, particularly the perforated portions. And then there is the silver leather. It came lightly scratched all over, and I simply thought it was the shipping. However, after wearing them once, the leather is extremely prone to scratches. These will not keep their look long, which is truly sad because they look fantastic in theory. The contrast of the black, red, and silver is great, and the construction feels pretty solid.

The shoes quality is good. These shoes look built to last but I’m not one who takes all shoes to the limit, only certain sneakers. The style I purchased is cool they get attention and turn heads; most styles of the Cesario shoes do. The comfort level I give them a 3.75/5 they are comfortable but the shoe is a little thin and they run about a 1/8 to1/4 size small. It may not sound like a lot but when u put them on for the first time u will feel a very slight tightness at the toe if u buy your exact size. They don't have half sizes.

So nice -
I got the blue/white/vapor ones, and these shoes are the nicest ones I’ve ever bought. They look nicer than any Nike dunk I’ve ever seen, too. Get them a half size big, just like others say. If you’re looking for a nice hi-top shoe, you'd be crazy not to check these out.

Awesome shoes -
I love Creative Recreation shoes. They have a look like no other. The only thing I can suggest is to make a shoe a little bit wider. I wouldn't consider my feet as wide, but they do feel a little bit cramped. To counter that, I would just buy 1/2 size larger. That helps but can still be improved in that department. Other than that, it's an awesome brand and shoe with a very unique look. I love the detail they put into the shoe. Zappos is a great site to buy from as well. The communication is great and they even upgraded my shipping at no cost and without me requesting it. Now that's great service!

I love my RECS!!! Creative Recs are a major part of my daily wardrobe. I get asked about them all the time, and I have all different colors. I usually go for the dark, rich colors, browns, dark greens, maroons, dark oranges and black. These shoes are simply...HOT!!! FYI, get a half size bigger always. They all run narrow.

These sneakers are super hot! The only issue I had was after wearing them for 7 or so hours, the heel of the sneaker began rubbing against my skin, which caused a major irritation (cut my heel up pretty bad). Other than that (I think that can be corrected with higher socks or a bandaid) these were fly.

These shoes look pretty awesome. I am not used to high-topped shoes, so they took some getting used to for comfort and a little longer to break in than my shoes usually do. I like these shoes a lot.

Great sneakers -
Got these at my normal size and then read the comments...ended up with a size larger, so save yourself the hassle (what little hassle there is) and just get em bigger like everyone says. The shoe is awesome otherwise, had em for a few weeks and they're still comfortable and lookin good.

Cool shoes, excellent fit -
These are sure to get you the compliments you're looking! Plus, they're super comfortable, light weight, and allow you to keep on the move. Make sure you get these a half a size larger, as they run a little small, but they are super comfortable. Didn't even really need to break them in! Excellent shoes and will be buying another pair soon!

Sweet looking torture device -
Enough space length-wise, but these shoes are super-narrow. Not just that, but the hi-top design is stiff and uncomfortable. Still, they look pretty sweet. I'm willing to trade in a little comfort for looks - returning the hi-tops and getting a pair of low top Creative Recs instead.

Sick Shoes!!!
These shoes are very nice looking I got the white ones. I did feel they were tighter than any shoes I’ve got, they also hurt my ankle but two days after wearing them they fit perfectly. Still nice shoes go with anything. From street to formal.

I got these sneakers in brown and khaki. I originally bought this shoe in a size 6; however, I realized that the shoes ran narrow. So then I ordered the shoe from Zappos. Zappos provided excellent customer service and I will continue to make purchases from them.

They feel pretty comfortable, but I got a size bigger than what I usually wear because the Cesarios were a little uncomfortable in my normal size. I didn't wear them out yet but I tried them on and they feel pretty good. A lot better than the Cesarios.

The shoe looks great but luckily I followed the advice of other reviewers and got a full size larger. I wear an 11 normally but ordered a 12 and it fits just right. Thanks Zappos for being so fast and getting me a great looking sneaker!

OMGosh, this shoe is so hot -
I am in love with this sneaker. I got the watermelon/pink color; they fit great and are very good quality and simple however they make a very bold statement. I can not wait to see how many stares I get from wearing these. I love em!!!
