Cute, but not for my feet -
These shoes look great, however they just weren't right for me- I kept rocking backwards in them! The rubber-like sole squishes when I stand with too much weight on my heels. For sitting they rock; in the good way.

I wore Bass Weejuns for 30 years - can't find them any longer. This Freeway is great. I took 1/2 size up and it worked great. Thanks Bass and thanks to my ONLY shoe place – ZAPPOS! I don't know how I ever managed without you! Thanks!

4th Grade School Shoes!!!!
My nine year old daughter loves these shoes; and so does all the moms that come in contact with her while she wearing them. They always ask "Where did you get those shoes?" ~ And of course we proudly say "Zappos!!" ~ I was a little skeptical in making such an huge investment on a pair of shoes for a nine year old. Because of Zappos wonderful return policy I purchased several boys loafers which were not as expensive; and the Freeport as a comparison. Upon the arrival I allowed my daughter to try on each; and she chose the Freeport instantly ~ and I couldn't blame her ~ the fit was ideal for her little feminine narrow feet and they are fashionable which she like even more. Although, she did like the other loafers as well ~ she made referenced that they looked like boys shoes and I couldn't agree with her more. After the purchased I worried about the partial leather heel since children are customarily hard on shoes; but with a quick trip to the shoe repair shop I was able to revamp these shoes with a Vibram heel and tap reinforcements and we were back in business few hours later. We love the Freeport!!!!

This boot is just gorgeous! Beautiful! I have looked and looked for a leather boot that would fit a slim calf but still have a mid-heel height. This is the perfect basic boot. Love it!

The classic loafer, these are great to kick around in, and have enough style to be worn to work as well. I actually like these better than the Johnston Murphys, I think the value is better.

Superb quality, comfort and design. Bass brand shoes have always been my style and kind of shoes for my daily casual wear. It never goes out of style. Craftmanship is magnificent as well as comfortability is concerned. I had different designs and colors of their tasseled loafers that I manage to keep. I hope that G.H. Bass will continue on producing these high quality craftsmanship that are priced affordably. More power to G.H. Bass!

I absolutely love these shoes!! The first pair I got wasn’t wide enough and they don’t come in wide but I got a half size bigger and they are comfy now. I wear them everyday but I’m afraid to wear them in the rain.

These sandals are very comfortable but run very narrow. The strap by your little toes sits at a very uncomfortable angle.

Enjoying this shoe -
If you have any bumps or bunions, you can move the straps around to accommodate. The insole is very soft and comfortable. The straps do take a few wearings to soften up; they do rub the first time or two. They don't really have any arch support, so if you have high arches, they might not be appropriate. They feel like slippers.

I returned this shoe as it was most uncomfortable! I couldn't stand to wear it when I tried it on, so I knew I'd never find it comfy enough to wear. Cute shoe, though. Maybe the Bass I remember from years past were this uncomfortable, but my feet were just younger and didn't care!!!

Won't fit a high instep.
These shoes look great and seem to be of good quality, however, I have a high instep and they just have very shallow depth in the instep. I can't even get them on.

Most comfortable shoes I've owned in years! I have these in the Wheat color that Zappos unfortunately does not seem to offer, but regardless, they are incredibly comfortable. While the sole isn't my favorite, the rest of the shoe more than makes up for it. I did have to buy up half a size.

These shoes remind me of the old styles that Bass was popular for in the 70s and 80s. The overall style with the wedge was a favorite of mine. They are really comfortable and minimal break in is required. Great for work or anything else. The service was incredible. I ordered them on the Saturday before Labor Day and they arrived the day after the holiday! The shoes and service are unbeatable!

Never Sacrifice Style!!!
I work ten hour days in retail, so I needed a comfortable shoe. I've been wearing ballet flats and killing my feet right where bunions form. I ordered these in a wide to accommodate any swelling throughout the day. BINGO!!! These shoes look and feel great without sacrificing style. Would order again.

Years ago I bought a pair of Bass Sandals just like this and it was time to replace them due to all the wear and tear. Imagine my delight to find the same (or very close to it) sandal. I immediately ordered a pair and love them as much as I did the first pair.
