These are the most comfortable flip flops I have ever had! I can wear these all day and my feet don't get tired. They also have a more aggressive tread than regular flip flops so there is less chance of slipping.

I have had this exact shoe before and it was wonderful until my dog chewed it up. This pair was WAY too tight for my wide foot. How disappointing! I had to send them back.

I love these flip flops! Very comfortable from day one, great arch support. I first saw this shoe at a resort shop in Hawaii. I loved them and wanted to buy them. Luckily I decided to wait until I got home, I found them on Zappos. I will buy another color next spring or maybe sooner.

A real fine sandal -
After reading a number of reviews, I ordered a full size larger, than my normal size 11. The sandal was VERY comfortable, but I thought that it would stretch with use and then feel too loose. So I ordered my normal size, and I'm glad I did! It has stretched and for me, fits perfectly.

I am only 28 years old and have a problem with my right hip, and have had recent issues with wearing shoes in general, esp. sandals. After I ordered these sandals, I ended up with a total of 3 pairs because they are so comfortable and I can stand and walk in them all day long!! They are so comfortable and the arch support is amazing. They are the only shoes I can wear where my hip doesn't hurt. Love them!

My favorite flip-flops so far!!!
I've had an aversion to flip-flops for as long as I've been buying them. Why? Because usually they chafe me, either between my first two toes or the strap that covers the width of my foot, or both. NOT WITH THESE. My foot feels so snug and cushioned, I don't feel I'll have a problem with them. The piece between the toes might cause irritation, but I haven't worn them long enough to notice. That's something very apparent with brand new LEATHER flip flops. Leather's great after you've broken them in...my Born's took 4 months before I stopped blistering. These have nice arch support. Much better than with many inserts for walking/running shoes. Size-wise I'm an 11M as far as flip flops. I DIDN'T have to buy a size bigger/smaller for a perfect fit. If this is your first pair of flip flops, then buy one shoe size smaller than an American (Nike, Reebok, etc.) for a good fit. For all those who suffered from flip flops...suffer no more!

I discovered OluKai a couple of years ago and prior to getting this pair, I had 3 different pairs. I ordered this one to try the different style and I loved the color. When I got the shoes out of the box and put them on, the left shoe's strap was awful tight on my foot. I have never had that problem with OluKai before, so I was afraid I was going to have to send them back. I rigged a method to stretch it by putting one of my heels against the sole and the strap and leaving it overnight, and it helped. I still don't find these as comfy as my other 3 pairs due to that strap, but overall, OluKai are great sandals!

First of all Zappos customer service is top notched. The upgraded shipping for me for no extra charge. I Was pretty excited to see the sandals arrive today, especially when I ordered them on the weekend. Thanks! I hope the pups don't like the taste to these.

Very, very comfortable. I walk in them all day, and it feels so great. I only wish they would make half sizes. Size 6 is just right, size 7 is too big, and I have wide foot. Normally I wear size 6.5-7. Otherwise it is a pleasure to walk in these shoes.

Comfort thy name is Makau W. Padded and with arch support, my feet don't want even the extended Seattle summer to end. I now realize they took a day to break in, but when I wore them that first day (for an extended suburban hilly dog walk), I didn't realize I was just breaking them in. They are that comfortable for the middle-aged feet supporting overweight body. I am not a typical flipflop fan.

Good, other than the blisters!
I already owned the OluKai Kekai shoes, decided to try the Lani W for a flipflop with height. The first time wearing them (all day) everything was great. The second time though - ouch! I got major blisters from the thongs on the side and under the big toes on both feet. Maybe the leather stretched the first time so it rubbed more the second time? Since then, I've gotten new blisters in the same spots about the next 10 times I wore them. Finally, now I'm okay wearing them (calluses?). Now they're great; I'm not sure why I had so many problems before.

I don't know where to begin! I'm not sure as to what was more satisfactory, the service or the fit of the sandal. No sooner than I placed the order, the sandals were delivered to my door the very next morning. What a relief to get them! I have been dealing with plantar fascia for nearly 6 months with no relief in sight. Not only are these flip flops light in weight, have great arch support, but are very soft and "forgiving" in the heel portion. I was so impressed that I immediately went on line and ordered two other colors. Thank you Zappos and OluKai Kekai.

Expensive but worth it, maybe -
These are some finely made flip flops. I love the style and the fit, but jury is still out on the comfort. The leather strap is still stiff and rubs a little (not enough to blister) but I anticipate that if I wear them around town when I don't have to walk a long distance, they will ultimately soften up and be the best ever flip flops. I expect they will last 25 years or more--they are SO well made. I got them in brown and white--blast the expense, I want some flip flops that look cool and give some support and will last more than one summer. I ordered a size up and had to return them for my regular size, so they do feel true to size for me.

These shoes are beautiful and they compliment one of my L.A.M.B. purses. They fit comfortably and do not scream blister! I have wide feet, but the shape of the toe accommodates this unfortunate feature of my feet. I have been waiting to buy a pair of her shoes and these are well worth the money!

Last year I bought the OluKai Kumu sandals, which are 5++ stars across the board, hands down, best sandals I've ever owned. Decided to try the Makau sandal as I am definitely sold on the OluKai brand. These sandals have great arch support and look great. A little bigger than the Kumus but great with casual wear and even jeans. Comfortable from the start but getting even better with every wear.
