Like the other reviewer said, these shoes are soo sexy but extremely painful. I love them and hate them at the same time. At first I thought they hurt because they were causing blisters. So I wore tights with them and that still didn't work. They are just painful to walk in. Do not wear them where you will be standing for long periods of time, like a cocktail party. You will just be asking for trouble.

Hook-and-loop closure Ineffective!
My five-year-old daughter and I love the look and fit of these shoes for her, but they are an utter failure due to the hook-and-loop closure. Even when the hook-and-loop closure is aligned correctly, it comes undone - especially when my daughter is running - which is a safety hazard. It's a shame because they are adorable, well-made and supportive when they stay on her feet.

Very fashionable for a sneaker- my daughter loves glitter!
My daughter absolutely LOVES these shoes! we ordered about five pairs from Zappos and these were the ones she wanted to try on first. She loves the glitter on the side and the hot pink color. She's a very active 19-month old and these shoes have been keeping up well. After a month of the playground they still look new and they don't scuff as easily as her old pair of See Kai Run shoes.
I love that I can feel her toes through the sneaker since she grows out of her shoes so fast (and they come in half sizes!). We'll definitely order again despite the price.

Expensive, but worth it!
This is my first time trying Tsukihoshi shoes and I'm certainly glad I did. They fit her feet perfectly and are extremely flexible. As soon as she put them on, she was running on air. An additional bonus is that they are machine washable and light as a feather. I ordered a half-size smaller than my daughter usually wears and they fit perfectly.

High comfort, style and quality.
My daughter loves these shoes. They are so comfortable she mostly wants to wear them with no socks. Styling is not overdone and thus far the quality seems top notch. Not the cheapest shoe but I think you get what you pay for here. Athletic construction with enough girly style. Light.

Love this shoe, love the brand -
I love these shoes! Its our second pair for our son. They are lightweight, offer good support, are well constructed, and cute. Excellent choice of colors. We have bought cheaper shoes for him before, but the quality and comfort just isn't the same. These are really outstanding and I will buy this brand again.

Great Buy -
I was iffy on buying this shoe, but when I go it...it was better then expected. Flexible soles...very light weight...machine washable and the insoles also come with antibacterial material. Perfect...I would definitely recommend this shoe...My daughter has very flat feet and always complains about her shoes, but she never once complained about these.

2yr old son loves Tsukihoshi -
I bought Stride Rite in the past and never again. Tsukihoshi shoes cannot be beat. My son is normally a barefoot only kind of guy but loves wearing, putting on and taking off these shoes! My only question is when Tsukihoshi is going to make winter boots?!

Nice shoe, but flawed -
First, have to say that Zappos is incredible. Although my review will be negative on this shoe, it's positive for how Zappos treats its customers. We bought this shoe after buying our son the brown variation when he was 1 1/2. Shoe lasted 9 months and was surprisingly durable and fit him well. After being an avid Stride Rite family, we took these on a recommendation from a friend. When he needed a replacement, we thought we'd just buy the blue version in his new size, thinking it was the SAME shoe.... we were WRONG. After 3 months, front seam unraveled, toe material wore off, and overall it looked like a shoe of 2 years of solid wear and tear. Called Zappos and they're taking care of us with another Tsukohoshi replacement that got rave reviews. Watch the reviews on this model, as others also had this experience... it was very comfortable and fit well in the limited time he had them.

They really mean it when they say buy a smaller size!
We ordered the blue and yellow Tsukihoshi Goal for my 4 year old son in his size (11T), but the shoe is sized larger than marked. He had heel slippage and about an inch room at the toe. But, since my son loves this "superman" colored shoe, and it looks cute, comfy, and well made, we are keeping it for him to grow into---probably sometime within the next six months.

The best shoe ever for kids!!!
This is the second pair of this color and style for my daughter. They fit great, go on easy, and look great with everything. Perfect if you need a wide shoe without having to search for one, these are just cut wide enough, and my daughter usually had to wear XW shoes. We get compliments all the time and people are always asking..."Where did you get those shoes?" Thanks to Tsukihoshi for making them and thanks to Zappos for carrying them.

My daughter said that the inside was comfortable and she definitely loved the appearance. Can't beat that, looks great and super comfy. She's an extremely active kid who loves to run and climb when given the chance. So far the shoes still look brand despite the abuse she's given it.

Great sneaker!
We love Tsukihoshi shoes for both our son and our daughter. These sneakers are so flexible, easy to slip on, & are wonderfully made. The pink is a pretty shade that goes with many of my daughter's outfits and even though she is very picky about her shoes, she does love these! Also, I love that you can just throw them in the wash when they get dirty!

Great every day sneaker -
This is the second pair of this same style I bought for my 20-month old son. They fit very well, are super easy to slip on, are very flexible for early walkers & are beautifully made. I only had to buy a second pair because he grew out of the first! The basic (but hip) style means it will go with everything.

Beautiful shoes!
Tsukihoshi shoes are my new favorites for my 20-month old daughter. Every style I have tried fits perfectly. These particular ones are girly enough for her to like them but sporty enough that she can wear them everywhere. They are very soft & flexible, beautifully made & seem to be very comfortable for her somewhat chubby feet. FYI - they seem to run a bit on the roomy side.

 | | I just wanted to say that I saw your CEO, Tony, on the Oprah show the other day and I knew from my first purchase with Zappos (I think it has been at least 2 years now) that it was very clear that customer service was the most important ingredient in your product - not the shoes, not the clothes - the service. I have always been the same kind of person trying to impress upon others the importance and pleasure that comes with incredible customer service that I wasn't surprised to see that the CEO of this wonderful company sits where he sits and acts the way he acts. I have been the boss of many different customer service businesses and I always made sure that everyone I worked with knew that even though I may have to make some important decisions I am on the same level as them. I am now a Realtor in San Diego and clearly it has been a tough year. I really wish you had an office here in San Diego because I would quit real estate in a second to do whatever it took to be a part o f your family. If you ever want to open an office here I hope that I am the first person that finds out about it so I can get a cubicle in one your offices. How lucky all the people who get to work for Zappos are... a philosophy driven company that I have been looking for the past 20 years that I have been working in customer service!!! And OF COURSE I tell at least one person about Zappos everyday and now I will have to tell even more knowing what I know now! Keep up the great work! Kindly, Mary Y. | | ~ Mary Y., October 29 2008
