Gorgeous and comfortable shoe! I purchased the zebra print and love the style and comfort of this shoe. It's become my favorite slip-on and I like it even more than my Danskos and my Pikilinos. Goes great with casual slacks, jeans, and even dresses and skirts! Perfect for fall and has some pizzazz that jazzes up any outfit.

All time great shoe -
This is my 2nd pair of these. I have LOTS of foot problems and stylish comfort is such a luxury for me. I LOVE THESE SHOES! The elastic at the toe is over the top great for me, both for comfort and camouflage. They feel like a pair of slippers that gets lots of compliments for style. And they last a long time. The only reason I need another pair after 4 years is that my deformed toes have stretched the front out.

Very nice quality leather, pretty shape to the shoe-not clunky: leopard print makes these great looking, cute and up-to-date, neutral shoes. It's always the first pair I reach for, in all but the hottest weather, for work or play. They're great with slacks for work, or jeans. The fit is perfect for me, and the leather inside makes these shoes comfy with or without socks. These shoes breathe much better than one would think, adding to their quality. I love the fit and look; they're lightweight but will take the beating of dashing to the bus, etc. and still look nice. All this makes me feel happy when I wear them! Since I hadn't worn Romikas in a while, I tried two different sizes to confirm the fit, ordering one size at a time; they run perfectly to size. My 2nd pair (correct size) appeared on my doorstep the next day following my request the night before. As always, Zappos took care of my return flawlessly. Like most folks, I don't have time to fool around with waiting days for deliveries. Zappos again enabled me to shop easily. Zappos, you rock!

I bought the Mokassetta 05 G in black/white; they're great with black or white jeans especially. I'm wishing I bought the black/red also. They have just enough heel to look like I bothered to dress for an occasion, and they are very comfortable for heavy walking days. I have worn them on two all-day-at-the-museum days, which can be murder in the wrong shoes...these were a pleasure to walk and stand in all day. The fit is right, no pinching at the toe, or over the arch. (And I don't walk out of them due to loose fit.) The leather is supple and nicely finished. I'll wear these for a long time to come because I don't use them daily, but they would be fine for daily use...and they seem sturdy enough to hold up. They are flattering and have the appearance of fine shoes. In my opinion, not all comfy slide-ons appear just right for the office, but these really do. They have a "modern" sensibility, clean, interesting, pleasing lines. The leather appears to remain uncreased with wear, giving them a substantial look even though they are soft and light-weight. I was quite happy with how easy they were to pack and travel with. They might not work with unconstructed, flimsier fabrics as well as a different slide might. I am hard on shoes, and am as picky as anyone who might bother to read this. These shoes are winners.

Fun shoes that are comfortable too! These shoes are great for a nice switch! The red ones have red/dark red/orange/chocolate colors that help match any shade of red clothes. The perlato metallic has 2 shades of beige, gray, and silver metallic (definitely shiny). These do go with a lot of things due to the multiple colors and are certainly more fun than wearing just black or brown shoes. The heels are perfect as they give you some height but not too much to keep them very comfortable. The shoes are very comfortable for wearing around the office, shopping, etc. I'm not sure I'd choose them for long walks all over town, but they may be ok for that if needed. For sizing, I wear a 7.5-8 (usually a 7.5 in open sandals) and got a 38. They fit well but my foot goes all the way to the back, just enough room to make it ok. I don't think I could go to 39 because it would be too wide, as the 38 is reasonable but would not want more width. Hope that helps! Try this shoe, I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Too wide for a true fit. I have worn this brand for years. This particular shoe wasn't true to form. I bought three pairs. Though the feel of the shoe was great, it tended to be wide at the very top of the foot and stuck out away from the foot. This left a gap when looking down at it and when just standing, giving the impression it just didn't fit. The opening around the little toe was too wide and caused the toe to poke out more. This issue could have been caused by the fact that the shoe runs larger than the size I always wear. One felt a full size larger than the other. The shoe had a great feel to it and has a great comfort level. It just needs a few adjustments.

Not sure about a day of walking...
I'm looking for a shoe that will carry me through 11 days of some major walking in Europe, so I'm being extra picky about these shoes. They are super cute and if they were for my everyday walking life, I'd be keeping them. I normally wear a 7.5 and based on reviews here, I ordered the size 37. Very good fit both in length and width. I like the wide toe box - lots of room in there. The velcro strap makes it easy to adjust the tightness across the top of the foot. There was a seam in the underside of the top that was irritating me some on my right foot - felt like it was digging in a little, but I think that would have gone away with some breaking-in. The major reason I'm sending them back is that I can already tell that my feet would feel exhausted in these. There's not much cushioning in the bottom and my feet were getting sweaty in no time. Even though the leather feels soft and supple, it still felt just stiff and heavy enough to cause my feet to feel a little tired after having them on for only about 20 min. I know it would never do for all-day walking for me. And though they're super-cute now, these shoes will very easily scuff and look worn in no time. You can tell the leather is high quality, but I wonder about the longevity of some of the stitching on it. Two places on it made me go, "That's all that's holding that in place?" If I'm going to pay this much for shoes, they're going to have to be darn near perfect for my needs.

These shoes are very comfortable and pretty cute. They have a lot of support, but are also light in weight. A good city walking shoe. I like the way they feel better than the Keens that I have. The only thing I don't like is that they do make my feet hot. I wear them with a slipper sock, but it's rather annoying because the inside is made of leather...maybe suede...and it pulls my sock down as I walk. I think they'll be good fall shoes...with tights or knee socks.

Middle aged chic French lady shoe -
I first bought a pair of these shoes when they were made by another company. The owner of the shoe store told me "they remind me of the chic French ladies I saw in Europe". I was not middle aged at the time (1994) but I loved the look and they were sooo comfortable. Fast forward 14 years and my old pair is starting to wear out. Why didn't I buy another pair when I had the chance? Imagine my unbounded joy when I found these Romika’s on Zappos. They bought out the other company and continued to produce this long lasting comfortable shoe. Hooray! They are comfortable and now I am middle aged and chic! Alas! I am not French but I look good and my feet feel fabulous.

Recently purchased these shoes in brown. Very well made. I ordered a half size up to use with thick socks. The shoe is very comfortable and provides good support. My foot slides forward a bit but I think with socks and a proper insole they will be great. I haven't seen these shoes in any stores- so they are a real find! Zappos service is just great- super friendly and efficient. I will buy from Zappos whenever I can.

This is my first pair of Romika shoes - and I adore them. They are truly comfy out of the box, very supportive and light to wear. I swear they make my legs look shapelier. The leather is high quality and well stitched. I want to make sure to mention the soft suede leather lining - sooo luxurious on bare feet! I think because of the lining they do tend to make my feet a little hot but it is midsummer after all (but I couldn't wait to wear them). The fit front to back makes me think of Dansko - I am a size 10, ordered a 41 and can't see how a 10 1/2 could have enough room in the front of the toe box. I will only be able to wear thin socks with them at best but who cares - I love them. So does my sister-in-law...she tried mine on, went to the computer and ordered her own!

Most comfort I have ever found.
I bought 2 pair of this style 3 years ago. Still wearing them every day that I commute on the Metro. Comfortable, don't flop on your heels, and just the right heel height. I also have 3 pair of the winter closed toe style. Great shoe at a reasonable price!
