Love this shoe -
This is a great little Birk. The colors in the hose match everything she wears. The cork bed does its job on developing the heel toe walk that toddlers have difficulty with at times. Only regret with Zappos is that they don't carry the selection in Birks that you once had.

Zappos did it again!
Thank you Zappos for the fast shipping. I ordered these shoes at 9 pm Tues. night and received them Wed. early afternoon. These are the cutest sandals I have ever bought. It’s great to see Birkenstock make sandals like this for toddlers. It is hard to find a casual sandal that doesn't go between the toes, but yet not so girly looking either.

My daughter loves these slip-ons and I know they are providing excellent support for her growing feet. I'll be purchasing the next size up and so on after she outgrows these little cuties!

Fun, but Not Mature -
As an adult with a small foot, I love Birks because they correctly support my foot and give my toes room to breathe. I took stars off in the look catagory because the snap-halves left behind when you take off the backstrap look kind of ridiculous.

This shoe would be great for kids who have to wear orthotics. I've been looking for a sandal desperately. Since my daughter’s feet are now larger there are few sandals with the full heel enclosed that she can wear her orthotics in. Much to my disappointment, these shoes did not fit. She is an 11N. Ordered the 29 and at least 2 sizes too big. Ordered the 27. They were still ever so slightly too big in the length, however no way these are narrow. My daughter fits fine in all narrows I've found. She was sliding all around in these. I'd consider them a Medium at least. I'd think they would be great if they would fit.

Runs at least a size bigger than marked -
My daughter wears a 12 and with the Water Birki's Haiti she took a 30N (as the size chart says) but for the Rio she took a 28N. So this style runs bigger than marked by at LEAST 1 1/2 sizes.
Other than trying to find the correct size, this is an awesome shoe that can be worn with or without sock in the summer. We got her a nice pair of Birkenstocks for our upcoming trip to Disney where it is normal to walk 20+ miles a day.

Great Kids shoe -
My 3 year old loves her Birkenstock's!! This is no exception. She says that they are a little stiff right now because she's breaking them in but they're fine. She did mention that they were a little big. She normally wears a size 9-9.5 shoe and we ordered her an 8 in this Birkenstock.

This is exactly what we were looking for. The girls just love them and wear them around the house each day to break them in. The quality is exceptional, and the girls say they are really comfortable. My girls are prone to blisters and have narrow feet so it is always a struggle to find a good fitting sandal. This sandal has been perfect in every way.

Hard to fit -
My child has haed to fit feet. This shoe was perfect for her. Fit and comfort were A-one. I will certainly order more of this type. It is so easy to shop at Zappos thank you so much.
