Cute shoe, runs large -
I'm a size 7-7 1/2 with a narrow foot, so I ordered the 38 which usually fits. This shoe feels wider and larger than I expected by a half to a full size. Too bad, because the black macao patent is an interesting color with steel gray and almost blue tones.

Comfortable shoe. Easy to get used to the rolling walking deal, but unclear if this actually translates into burning more calories or if it is just a comfortable shoe.

Comfort to my feet.
The MBT shoes are everything I heard they were. The quality of the shoe is excellent. I like the sporty look of the shoe. Comfort is beyond words… I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and I can wear these shoes all day and my feet, knees, and back do not bother me at the end of the day. I did order a half size up from my regular size and they fit fine. I will have another pair or many pair. Cost is the only issue I have.

Great shoe -
I started wearing the MBTs due to a herniated disc in my spine. I knew my posture was not the best and these shoes help that. I am a teacher and on my feet all day, mostly on hard surfaces. We have a large campus and I walk a lot in a day. Since wearing the MBT shoes, it is about all I will wear to work. They offer support, cushion, and help me keep better posture. I do not have as much pain in my lower back or my neck.

I switched from my Danskos to these, and what a difference. I work 12-14 hour days on my feet. I noticed a huge difference in my feet, knees, and hips after work. I don't have any problems with any of these areas except that they were sore when I was done working. I don't feel sore at all anymore. My only regret is that MBT does not make a wider shoe and that the sizes are a little off. I recommend ordering a 1/2 size larger. I wear an 8.5 and I had to order a 39 2/3. They are not pretty, but they definitely take good care of your feet.

Worth it!!!
These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn and are very well made. It took about a week and a half to get used to them, but now I hate to take them off!! Zappos shipped them super fast, thanks!

I love these boots. I was a little skeptical at first from reading the other comments, but bought them anyway. They arrived the very next day and were perfect. They look good and feel wonderful. The leather is softer than I thought it would be. I have nothing but praise for this boot.

I am so glad I purchased these shoes--difficult time making mind up if I wanted to or not but since I loved the lace up Mbt's for work(12hr shifts as Labor Nurse) I wanted the same type of comfort when not working. I am ruined for nothing feels as good as the MBT's-I am going to give away all my other shoes and just focus on my MBTs for work and play. I ordered after midnight on Monday and received them Wednesday-no better service have I ever seen.

Practical comfort -
I really love these shoes because they are so adjustable, and easily adjustable at that. The velcro is great and no bothering with laces. Also, if you aren't sure about the size, the back is open so it gives a little leeway. They are men's shoes, I guess actually, but I wanted the open back styling and they fit great. I am giving them a real workout and they seem to be holding up well. A great shoe!

Overall another great shoe from MBT. They do hit a little high on the ankles. This does not bother me enough to be a problem. However I can see how this could be a problem for some depending on each individuals anatomy and personal preference.

Original Wayfarer -
I've had three pairs of the original wayfarers and I ordered the third pair from Zappos. I had trouble finding them at mall stores and boutiques so I ordered them of Zappos. I bought some Vans shoes from Zappos before and my conclusion is that this site is awesome. So many other sites are bogus and unreliable. Zappos it the real deal. I dig the look a quality of the original, big wayfarers. They're rad.

Couldn't get my foot into the shoe -
I could not get my foot into this shoe. There is very little give on the top to slide foot in. Also the cross strap hit my foot right in the joint above the big toe and hurt. I had to return this style but kept another MBT sandal, which has worked well because it opens up to get foot in.

Cute shoe from MBT, though not as much support in the sole as other MBT styles. These shoes do accommodate a narrow foot because of the placement of the strap; however, I found that the sole on this style is narrower than other MBTs. Even with orthotics my feet rolled inward. I also found the toe box to be a bit tight. The rounded and tighter toe box is probably why this shoe should be ordered a size larger than other MBTs. So, sadly, I'll have to return them. Zappos, as always, is an awesome way to shop for those of us with hard-to-fit feet!

I typically wear a 7.5 EE, and I find these to be very comfortable (size 38). My width is due to bunions, which admittedly, can get a little sore particularly at the end of a 9-10 hour day. I started with the black casual style, which was fitted by a trained specialist (size 37 2/3). I also have a sandal (the original, not the Kisumu, in a size 37 b/c no socks) and the Lifestyle in blue (size 37 2/3). I have to say the Sport High is the most comfortable and I think it's because of the size overlap (7.5-8). About the fit, the specialist told me that your toes should reach the front of the shoe. If you have the right size, your foot should not be moving within the shoe as you walk or you do not get the full benefits of the sole. It seems counterintuitive because it feels like your toes are going to smash against the shoe, but they don't, and you can really feel the rolling motion. These shoes are great, but if you want to get the most benefit, see a specialist to figure out the correct size, then come back to Zappos to get the awesome price. :)

Cool looking shoe!
I really like the look of this shoe, it's like a platform mary jane. I had to go with a half size bigger. It's a bit narrow in the toe box. It chafes the sides of the metatarsal area when I wear them without socks. I am hoping they will stretch out a bit so that doesn't happen anymore.

They feel fine -
The shoes are well made, fit well, and are comfortable. Walking on the rolling soles takes some getting used to; I am getting comfortable with it, but a final judgment will take longer.

A revelation -
If I had had these sandals in Europe this past summer I would have had an entirely different experience. These sandals are THAT good. They render me, an out of shape old granny able to walk like anyone and seem to remove all my knee and foot pain. They are more than worth the money and look nice, actually. I had no problem getting used to the sole shape since I had been wearing some Finn Comforts with a negative heel anyhow. The Finn Comforts are great too, just didn't work for me and I was fighting my shoes all three weeks walking in Europe.

This shoe is very comfortable. I tried to get away with ordering the sale shoe in White/Navy but it was only available in men's sizes. Even the smallest size was too big despite the fact that I wear a 9.5. I had to send them back. The color combination was not available even at full price so I settled for the silver/white. They arrived today and fit perfectly in a size 10. They are wide enough and the laces don't come up so high that they irritate the front ankle. I could not be happier. MBT is finally getting some "style" advisers on board! Hooray! With my knee problems that mess up my back and foot, I can wear these all day long without pain. Even after I have my knee replacement, I am an MBT gal for life!

This is my second pair of MBT's. I use them on the treadmill and really like them. The sizing changed from my first to second pair. I wear a 6 1/2 shoe and I had to get a 7 1/2 in my second pair and a 7 in my first pair.

I have never written a review before but I felt that the Kaya deserves one. For the past two years I have lived with constant pain from plantar fasciitis. Despite trying countless different brands of shoes, numerous visits to the podiatrist and every "at home" remedy that I heard about I finally found relief with the Kaya! I just returned from 13 days in Italy and after walking countless miles through airports, cobbled streets, and muddy vineyards my Kayas held up beautifully and I had absolutely no foot pain. I wish I had known about MBTs two years ago, I would have saved a boatload of money and two years of pain.

I like the funky and stylish look of these boots. They are also extremely comfortable compared with regular boots. Because I am recovering from foot injuries, I can only wear shoes that fit like a sneaker. These do! My main complaint is that they are a little loose in the heel, so I have gotten blisters. I hope that once I wear them a few times, my heel will get used to it. I have worn them twice and received compliments from friends and strangers each time.

I Love them. I am a Flight Attendant, and can wear my Kaya's all trip long. Airport and Airplane. No need to bring extra shoes. I only wish that the white stitching was done in black. But, I dyed the stitching; now they are perfect. My foot is narrow, so I had to put pad, to tighten up. Strap does not tighten shoe enough.

I've been wanting to get a pair of MBTs since I'm recovering from back surgery and want to get back into shape in a gentler way. I got the gray/blue ones, and I think they're way cuter than the other styles, even though they're still a little Harajuku-looking. Super cushiony and comfy!

These shoes are helping relieve my hip & back pain!
This is my first pair of MBTs. These shoes take the pressure off my lower back and hips and decrease pain significantly. I noticed an immediate improvement when walking and standing on hard surfaces. I've also noticed my arches getting stronger and higher after just a few weeks! The styling is a bit more feminine than the other MBTs and looks OK with skirts and dresses, although still a bit of an odd looking shoe. All worth it if it helps you feel better!
