Ektelon, a division of Benetton Sportsytem USA, Inc, is based in Bordentown, New Jersey. Ektelon was founded by Franklin W. Bud Held in 1964 when he developed an aluminum tennis racquet and racquet stringing machine in his garage in San Diego. Only six years later, Ektelon equipment became such a hit with tournament players that the company had to move into a larger facility in San Diego in order to keep up with consumer demands.
Ektelon products have enjoyed the longest, most successful reign of dominance in the sport of racquetball. Ektelon's heritage includes the introduction of more revolutionary technologies and programs to the sport of racquetball than any other company. Ektelon shoes and products employ innovations that include oversized racquetball racquets, the Racquet Taper System (RTS), Power RingR racquets, O3 Engineered racquets, Natural Foot Shape Footwear technology, among others.
Ektelon introduced their Tour Series footwear line in July 2002. As a sponsor of the International Racquetball Tour and the Ladies Professional Racquetball Association, further developing the line of Ektelon shoes was a natural progression. Ektelon shoes are extremely comfortable and provide technical and performance features for the modern racquetball player.

Cushy Ride Tennis Shoes -
These are awesome tennis shoes. They have the best cushion of any shoe I've ever worn. Great lateral support and they look great to boot. They are even great for casual wear, you'll always want to have these cushy kicks on wherever you go, but save them for the court!

Great tennis shoe -
Even though I have only bought New Balance for the past several years because that company has wide sizes, this time I tried Prince and, even though it is not wide, it fits beautifully. Very sturdy and nice looking.

Terrific tennis sneaker -
My 11-yr old plays tennis several times a week and loves this sneaker. He plays for hours at a time and says the sneaker is very comfortable. Easy to move around the court in this sneaker and says the sneaker "looks very cool." Zappos service, as always, excellent.

Too confining -
I tried the shoes at home and I thought they were the most comfortable but after using them for 2 months I can't stand them. They are just too constricting on my instep and keep the heat in. I thought they would give me better side to side stability than other shoes I tried but I'll be looking for another shoe.

Good quality -
I really like this shoe. I ordered several other pairs of Prince, adidas, Asics and New Balance tennis shoes, and these were the nicest, best-fitting by far. I need a little extra room in the toe box due to bunions and these fit the bill perfectly. They are really solid and well-made, and they seem to hug the foot's contours really well. These shoes made the others look like cheap junk. I can't wait to try them on the court this weekend!

Mediocre -
Comfortable shoe, good traction, but the durability STINKS! I play volleyball and racquetball with these shoes and the lace holders fell apart, as did the sole. I wouldn't buy this shoe again. Plus, it doesn't look very good.

Love this shoe -
This shoe provides excellent support for playing tennis. Feels nice and snug, but not binding. The heel is well padded and firm, a plus for me. Not the lightest shoe, but so far it's working out well for me, and I have had no foot or knee issues since I started wearing this while playing. My feet are on the wider side, so this may not best accommodate those with very narrow feet.

Wonderful pick!
After searching around for a shoe, I found the Prince T20's. They fit true to size and give lots of support. I found them to be a balance of cushioning and stability. They are not too heavy and so it is easy to move well on the court.

Great shoe -
This is a great shoe for hot weather. It fits well and the ventilation is fantastic. I got bad blisters in the state tournament in the spring with another prince shoe, but so far, have not had a problem with this one.

Almost a scream -
The QT Scream-Mid is a bit wide and I have a fairly wide foot. The shoe is comfortable once the laces are tight enough, however, I do find that the shoe is hot, not enough breathability.

MY WORST NIGHTMARE!
I purchased these shoes based on the reviews and have been disappointed from the start. I ordered my true size and found them to be a 1/2 size too large. The first time that I wore them after a few sets my toes were "numb". I purchased toe insoles and got the same results. I would not recommend them at all.

Excellent shoes -
I have wide feet with high arches and at first the shoes were too tight across the tops of my feet, but after one day of wearing, the fit is now perfect. I use them to play table tennis with and there is a lot of side to side motion and these hold up very well. A break in period wasn't really needed, my feet feel just fine. I would recommend purchasing these shoes. I marked the size 1/2 off smaller, but it is more likely 1/4 smaller for my type of foot.

Great racquetball shoe -
I have searched for years for a good court shoe for racquetball. I am very hard on my shoes and have tried every type of court shoe for racquetball (and basketball) and I usually rip the sole of the shoe and it falls apart very quickly. Head (older models, not sold any longer) and Ektelon tend to have problems with the gum soles on the bottom of the shoe detaching from the shoe. I usually can only play with a shoe for about 2 months before the shoe is toast. I have had these for 8 months and they are still in solid condition with no problems. Excellent shoe, recommend highly.

The shoes are wider than usual but that is why I buy them. Unfortunately they won't be around for long. Although, reviews stated that the Roadster runs wide, I also have a high instep so they don't work for me. I also have a high instep. That's why I say moderate arch support. I use inserts instead. Arch support may be excellent for others.

Play in Florida all summer and this is the first shoe I have ever owned that actually vents the sweat out thru the bottom of the sole...upper ventilation is as good or better than any other shoe out there...your feet WILL stay drier than any other model I have tried...

Solid tennis shoe -
The shoe is like a tank. Great side to side and toe support. Does not swish toes. First time in a Prince tennis shoe and it feels great. I'm a women's size 11 and I bought an 11. Some might think it is not breathable, but that has not ever been a problem for me.

Best mid-top available for women.
If you love a mid top sneaker than this is the best in that category. They look a little boring so I add orange laces to spice it up! I am a size 9 and this shoe in size 9 fit perfect. Lots of room in the toe box. Good cushioned ankle support but I wish the laces went one more row higher because then it would hold the ankle better. I also tried the K-Swiss mid and the support was better in the Prince Scream. My favorite tennis sneaker is the Fila Open mid but sadly these are discontinued. Manufacturers, please make more tennis mid styles for women! My skinny little ankles are aching!
