I followed someone's suggestion to order a half size larger and it worked well for me! I really like these boots--they are indeed light, not heavy at all. I've been out in 20F weather with half a foot of snow on the ground and my toes never got cold. And I think the Badlands is quite a handsome pair of boots.

The boots are very light weight, and seem to be holding up well. My only concern is that they don't seem to be as wide as advertised. maybe you should order a size wider. For the average size width they are a great boot.

I bought these as a birthday present for my brother who was starting a new job that required him to be on his feet all day. His feet are wide and hard to fit, and he need a work boot that had both comfort and support. The first day he wore them he called to tell me that his feet hadn't hurt at all, they were comfortable enough to wear all day right out of the box. The orange trim gave them just enough of a "fun factor" to not be boring day after day. I am glad I bought them, and he will definitely look for this brand again.

Zappos has the best service. I ordered these boots 1 size wider than normal for my problem feet and so I could wear heavier socks. They fit perfectly, so comfortable and wide enough. Very good traction. I can leave these boots on all day with no problem. Highly recommend them.

I love these boots! I have never bought footwear through the internet before, as I have wide feet and am hard to fit. These boots fit great. The 2 zippers make them very easy to get on, though most of the time I only use 1. They are warm and do all the things boots are supposed to do. I am glad I took the chance and bought them.

This was a great boot right out of the box. It runs slightly bigger in width, but this allows you to wear a sock for warmth. Very comfortable, easy to get in and out of, which is what irritates me about most boots. As always, the Zappos service was prompt in delivery and easy to order. I plan to buy another color next year if available.

I have had plantar fasciitis over a year in both feet. These are the first athletic shoes I can wear all day without causing heel pain. The slight (1 inch) heel is what I was looking for in an athletic shoe, and it has made the difference. I tried New Balance and Brooks (both great shoes, but have flat heels) and my feet always starting hurting after wearing them, even with my orthotics. I use my orthotics in the Exowalkers and it's such a relief to not have pain after a few hours of walking, or standing in the kitchen. Thank you, Propet, for athletic shoes with a slight heel!

This boot is wonderful especially in the frigid north this winter. I wear a large size - 12EE and this boot is much better looking in person than it is in the photo. Also it is warm, waterproof and feels like I'm walking on suction cups over slippery ice - absolutely no slipping. My feet and ankles swell at times and the double zippers are wonderful for getting the boot on and adjusting it for the edema. I highly recommend it. This is the second boot I tried and Zappos was great to deal with in sending the first boot back and getting this second style sent right away - absolutely no hassle, very simple process.

Great casual walking shoe. I normally wear a size 10 wide but the toe box on this shoe didn't look that wide in the photos so I ordered a 10 2E and am glad I did. The heel area was a little big, which was easily fixed by adding an inexpensive gel heel pad to each shoe. I wore these for a sightseeing trip to NYC, and they were very comfortable.

Not a bad shoe but the brown I ordered is a little greyer than hoped for and I've ordered Propet before - got 12's that fit and this pair is just too small. Even taking the removable insole out didn't provide enough space. It feels a full size small.

The Propet Snowdrift Walker is a comfortable boot. The wider width allows me to add my orthodic insole for extra support. For me, this is great! The boot is also lightweight, adding to it's comfort. I would buy it in another color.

I purchased these for my adult son. He needed to size up from 10.5 to 11. He said they are very comfortable and gives him plenty of support. He works on a cement floor all day and these shoes help him through his workday.

Good stuff. They seemed a little big at first - I was worried about the movement of the heel, but it didn’t seem like a smaller size would fit my feet. So I strapped them on for a two-week vacation and I did not, in fact, get blisters or rub holes in my socks or anything like that, so apparently they’re meant to swing a bit. Like other Propet products I’ve tried, they didn’t seem to need any breaking in at all. If you have wide feet and you need a good sneaker for a lot of walking, I’d give this one a shot.

This is one of the most comfortable shoes that I have ever worn. Even though I take a large size the shoe still looks good. These shoes are lightweight and provide good support for all activities. The removable innersoles do have a little tendency to slide around. Since I am not using orthotics or need to remove the innersoles a couple of drops of glue solved this.

I ordered these one day before a snow storm so they really came in handy when they arrived the next day. Amazing! These are a great little boot. Excellent traction, as in all Propet shoes. They also keep your feet very warm. Agree with other customers, that the only complaint is they cut in a little with high top in front. But I just zip down a little. It really just bothers my injured foot there. So may be unfair to say that. Also felt could use a little more padding in the insole but another good purchase from Propet; it seems to be a good product. Good quality.

This is my seond pair of Propet shoes. I had such good luck with the Stability Walker as far as traction (good outsole). Also, they had an excellent insole. Very good support. Gave the Life Walker a try and found them to be very comfortable. Also, they were lighter on the foot. I found I could wear these right out of the box. Insole is a little thin, but they still give good support. I have to fit a brace into shoe due to foot injury and had no problem there. I do recommend the Life Walker as a good lighter weight walking shoe. Good quality.

Nice boots! I typically order up a half size to accomodate orthotics, but with these I didn't have to, so I'd recommend going down a half size if you don't wear orthotics or very thick socks. I recently had bunion surgery, and these are the first boots I'm wearing afterward. The boots are SO comfortable! Like walking on a cloud...And they're surprisingly stylish; they'd even look cute with tights and a skirt!

Love the boots! I ordered them half a size larger than usual (per other reviewers) and they fit beautifully. I have wide feet and the "D" width fits nicely. Great soles that don’t slip on ice or snow and the boots are warm, dry, and cozy. The zipper on one of the boots has a tendency to catch on the nylon beneath (hence the 4-star rating, rather than 5), but once I figured that out and started watching out for it, there were no more problems.

I have been buying my husbands Propet walkers from zappos for several years. These shoes are true to size and wear well. They also clean up quite well. He has them in both black and white and has had foot problems for years. These shoes are very comfortable for him.

A super light and good looking shoe with a major drawback, a very hard and rigid sole that wears out very quickly. I would not purchase another pair, or recommend this product to anyone at this time. In my opinion a redesign of the sole making it more flexible and wear-resistant would make it a serious competitor and an all out winner in my book.

I hear they work 24/7 and love every minute of it; but that some have to take time off at Xmas to head for the Pole! Oh well I'm sure you get subs. Thank all of them for me!
