Fantastic Shoe -
I had to walk an impromptu mile a mere few hours after my sneakers arrived in the mail, and they felt utterly terrific. They do have the same issues I have with most sneakers, namely that my feet get uncomfortably sweaty and hot-- but if I have to wear a pair, this would be the one.

Great shoe, great fit!
It's been difficult for me to find a shoe that really fits and is comfortable. I do a lot of walking, and I get a lot of blisters around my toes with every shoe I've bought. They start out feeling comfortable, but after a short time, that wears off and makes walking very uncomfortable. So far, these appear to be working great and holding up to all the walking I do...and no blisters!

Disappointed in color -
I love the style and comfort of the Ultimate 81s, but was really unhappy with the color. I ordered the gray/salmon which looked like a nice charcoal gray with a goldish accent. They look like flat gray with patent leather pea green trim. Bad colors! I hope more colors are coming soon in this style - this shoe is perfect otherwise.

Not the best shoe for my foot -
This was the first time I was trying an Asics brand after hearing so much about their shoes in general. I have problems with pain around the balls of my big toes (on both feet). The feet did not hurt when I wore it around the house. And I was excited by the new shining shoes. I took a walk outside on the pavement and that’s when the balls of my feet hurt. And when I wear Nike running shoes, it does not hurt. In fact I changed into my old Nike shoes and they were perfect... no pain.
I will be returning this.
Maybe for my foot the best bet is still a good running shoe.

Great fitting pair of shoes -
I have a high arch with wide forefoot but narrow heel. With that it is hard to find a good fitting shoe but Asics have served me well in the past with width options. The advertised cushioning does not disappoint and the shoe in 4E width gives a snug but comfortable fit. The colors and style is definitely not for the conservative minded but it is ok with me. I tried the Asics Kayano 14 but like others said the shoe leaves some things to be desired especially for the price $. The Nimbus is pricey but WELL WORTH the $. Also great service from Zappos especially with the free shipping as I had to return my first pair that was too small.

Amazing!
These shoes are GREAT. They are very comfortable, lightweight, and have great arch support. It is also easy to break into. The shoe has great cushioning, especially in the back. These are the only shoes I have ever run in that haven't hurt my feet.

My first Asics -
I've been wearing Nike Shox for years until something unfortunate happened to them. So I looked on Zappos for a new pair of gym shoes. My friends were all about Asics so I decided to give them a try. I am very happy with them. They are very comfortable and let my feet breathe during workouts (running, exercise classes). They look great because unlike some gym shoes they do not make my small feet look huge. I would definitely buy another pair.

Running shoe -
This is not the first pair of Asics I have bought. I tried the walking shoe first, but find the running shoe fits better and is more comfortable (although I use it for walking). I bought black for dirt reasons, but am having a hard time adjusting to the look of an all black tennis shoe.

Plantar's Neuroma and the new Gel Nimbus 10 -
The Nimbus 7 & 8 were great shoes for my wide toe box needs. Then for some off their nut reason, Asics made the Nimbus 9 with a step off cliff, New Balance did the same for the wide toe box shoes. The cliff hit me in the wrong place. Thank goodness the Nimbus 10 shed that "feature". The Nimbus 10 and ibuprophen have cleaned up my swollen Neuroma’s between my big toes and the second toes. I had to really loosen the strings over the toe box before I really started to improve. The shoe is super cushioned, and very neutral. I had to try on some different widths to get it right. I had to leave town and was running out of time. Zappos overnighted the shoes to me with no extra charge. This company has the best customer service in communication and in delivering the goods that I've ever experienced. They're so good about returns. I rate this shoe as moderate arch support because my arch is so high.

They changed the arch style a bit with the series 14, but it seems good still. I am concerned that the material change on the forefoot will mean that they won't last as long as my last pair, but I guess time will tell...

Great Shoe!
This is my 4th pair in the GT series. I love this shoe and it only gets better with each update. Runners World consistently rates it high and with an average of 600 miles per pair, I can't complain. It breaths well, holds up well and is comfortable and lite. I would highly recommend this shoe. I ran in a Gel Nimbus 9 for 550 miles and went right back to this shoe. Can't say enough...well worth the price.

Great shoe.
I am new to running and had a pair of cheaper Nikes. I would get horrible shin splints that would sideline me for days. Being 6'3, 215lbs, I thought I just wasn't cut out for running. These shoes have changed my mind. I average about 20-30 miles a week right now and my legs feel fine.

Love these shoes!
I bought the bright blue ones, and they are great. They are actually shiny patent leather, very flashy. I wear them to work nearly every day, and being that I am a personal trainer, I need good shoes for standing long periods of time. These are super comfortable, stable, and a great conversation piece at the gym :). I think I'm going to buy another pair!

Best Purchase Ever -
This is the most comfortable shoe I have ever purchased. I have flat wide feet, and have spent hundreds of dollars on athletic shoes of all types. This is the first shoe that felt like it was custom built for my feet. When it says stability, that's exactly what I got. It is the Best Purchase Ever!!!

Best shoe ever!
I have been a Zappos customer for some time now, and just have to say their customer service is outstanding. Also these Asics 2130 are the BEST shoe I have EVER owned. Unbelievable comfort straight out of the box. Looks are outstanding and have had many compliments. My 13 year old son is begging for a pair just like mine just because they look great with shorts, jeans, whatever. I got the White/Black/Aspen ones. If he only knew how comfortable they are. I'll probably get him a pair if he does all his chores this week. HA!

Cute sneaker -
I normally wear a size 7 in shoes and 7 1/2 with most sneakers. The 7 was a perfect fit. Very cute and comfortable sneaker...perfect for walking around in the city.

Awesome shoe -
This is my first time to purchase ASICS shoes. This particular model has proven to be very, very comfortable after the 4 mile fast walk/jog every day. I have a high arch and trouble with impact to the ball of my feet. Highly recommend this shoe. I also recommend purchasing from ZAPPOS. Great service!!!

First, I must say, Zappos has the BEST customer service. I had to leave town and they had them shipped from the already-delivered-to previous address to 2 states away. The shoes came the next day. Wow.
These shoes are comfortable and everything I need in an every day shoe. The vegan production really appealed to me. I usually like Saucony shoes, and cringe a little when I buy them knowing they are made with suede. These are a perfect substitute!

 |  | You guys truly are the best! I will forever by a Zappos customer. You guys easily have the best selection of any shoe store on the web or any mega store front in a mall. Shopping for shoes physically at a shoe store is very tiresome because they never seem to have the sizes or styles that I like. So you go from store to store and very possibly will never find anything you really want and sometimes buy something you really don't like. Also, other store fronts on the web do not do as good as job as Zappos at showing the customer all the important information about the shoe - different view points, colors, reviews, etc. Your customer service is first class. Your packaging and shipping service is first class. And again, your web-site is first class and flat out beats everyone else on the market. The shoes I ordered looked exactly like what I picked on your web-site. I got EXACTLY what I wanted.
