My son loves these shoes, and we were unable to find them in the malls. They were priced appropriately on Zappos. We received them the day after ordering, which was great. The shoes are nice-looking and hold up well, but would not recommend them if you are on your feet all day.

Bought these kicks for my gf’s b-day. She's a big Meg & Dia fan. She loved them, wears them more than any of her other shoes. I got them half a size smaller and they fit perfectly. They look sick. Wish they made this for dudes. Rock 'em with the tongue out.

I like them a lot, but they don’t let your feet breathe -
The ventilation isn’t very good and your feet get hot compared to all my other shoes... but other than that, I like the shoes.

Great look; fits small!
I usually get a size 11, sometimes a 10.5, but these I had to go down to 10 before they fit right. Even then, I think there's a big difference between 10 and 10.5, but not too bad. I hope they wear in eventually; I think they should at least wear in better than Chuck Taylors though. Overall I'm happy with them and especially happy Zappos does free exchanges/returns with super fast shipping. It makes not getting the right size not such a downer!

If you like its look, buy this shoe. The shoes look great and feel fine. It is pretty thin though. Loved doing business with Zappos. They upgraded my shipping for free so my shoes arrived in 2 days. Awesome. They were very helpful and everything was accurate.

I absolutely love Macbeth shoes! This is the first pair I've bought in this style and I was not disappointed. They are so comfortable! As a vegan, I am always looking for a great pair of vegan shoes - I have found some styling ones with this purchase.

I bought this shoe as a replacement for an old pair because I trusted the comfort and style Macbeth offers (I was the owner of several other pairs). Overall a great looking shoe, but was very uncomfortable until broken in since it gave me a blister. However they are now great to wear and I walk all day in them. Definitely a great buy!

I purchased this shoe for my son's college graduation, He loved the look so much that be started wearing them immediately, weeks before the actual graduation. These are nice looking with jeans or with a dressier look.

I would have to say that these look great and are quite comfortable. I also like the fact that not many people have them. They definitely feel better than my Cons and Old Skool Vans.

Great product for the price.
I love that Macbeth has started a woman’s line of products. The fact that it's a vegan shoe for women and easily accessible is amazing.
The shoe is comfortable yet more durable than other vegan acceptable shoes I have worn in the past like Chucks & the Van slip ons.

Very cute shoe. Material looks like leather, could not determine if they were vegan or not because nowhere in the description does it say yay! OR NAY. This bothers me? No arch, but that's a Macbeth for you. Eyelets for shoe lace are just, like, eh punctures. Hard to thread. Goods shoes though, good shoes. [nod].

This shoe looked very attractive on line, but when it arrived I was disappointed. It wasn't as interesting to look at just sorta long and flat. Great workmanship - lots of detail - I just thought I was getting a beefier shoe.

I liked the look of the shoe and that's why I got it. So am pleased with the look, but I wish it had a little more arch support and padding, but I realize I got what I paid for, because I don't like a big bulky shoe. But still, if they can put a little more arch support/padding it would be awesome. I'm still stoked on them though and will buy again.

The shoes are my new favorites.
I almost hesitated to order these shoes, as a few reviewers thought they run a bit large and the smallest women's size they have is a 7 (something Macbeth could maybe work on...offering more women's sizes) I am so glad I didn't let that stop me, the cement/black 7's fit me perfectly and I love them. They are very comfortable, and took me little time to break them in. They also seem like they are going to hold up well, and I am hard on shoes. Definite 5 star shoe.

I've had several pairs of Macbeths over the years and these are my favorite so far. The Jackson is Macbeth's take on the classic Oxford shoe. Jackson’s look a bit dressier but standout and look cool, definitely a unique look. I got the concrete/black pair. They look a bit bright brand new but they're going to look great when I break them in and get them dirty.
These tend to fit like most other shoes as opposed to the Eliot Vegans, which tend to run big. I always get Eliot’s in size 9, but the Jackson’s fit me perfectly in size 9.5. With all Macbeths, try a few different sizes to find the perfect fit. If you’re off by even a half size, they well be VERY uncomfortable or slip off really easily.
My only complaint is the support. The soles are pretty flat, but this is to be expected with Macbeths. They are still comfortable, but I would not do any heavy walking in them.

These caught my eye because they're different. I'm a girl and had to buy the men's because they don't come in women's. They are pretty flat, not much arch support, more like a Converse, but I'm not expecting to wear them for athletics anyway. I got the gray/black and they are sharp and unique and vegan, so all around I recommend it if that's what you're looking for.

Love these shoes -
These are my favorite pair of sneakers, I wear them pretty much every day to school and they feel great. I wouldn't recommend them as a great shoe for someone who has to stand for long periods, but for normal use they are cute, animal-friendly, and comfy.

1st pair of vegan shoes!
I looked all over the internet for vegan shoes that were affordable, cute and comfortable. I found all that when I came across Macbeth Eliot Vegan shoes. The only thing I can say as a negative is that the shoes are a little narrower than I am use to, other than that they're great shoes.

Fit is a bit off for my foot, but a nice looking indoor shoe -
I got the tweed shoes, not black.
These are long, narrow shoes, so if you have shorter/wider feet like I do they may feel too big. At first I felt I was wearing clown shoes that flopped and slapped a bit as I walked. I've now worn them a few days a week for a few weeks, and have tightened the laces differently and they are OK. They are just canvas so you have to use the laces to really hold them on your foot. At this point I wouldn't choose them for a long walk though.
Note that the tweed pattern really is a tweed pattern, it's not just a color or texture of the canvas itself. Look at the close up photo. Surprised me a bit at first -- the pattern was slightly more pronounced than I expected -- but I quickly grew to like it.
I don't know if it is the shape of the shoe or bad fit or that its not broken in yet, but it does dig into my heel a bit-- was worse when new. Will have to wear it more and see if it loosens/softens up a bit.
It has a small amount of arch support inside, though the sole is completely flat which in combination with its length might affect how you walk.
Overall, a cool looking but not too wild casual shoe for mainly indoor use.

Don't Get Me Wrong...
The shoe looks fantastic, it really does. I also love how it's all Velcro so you never have to worry about laces. But, and this is a BIG but, the Black/Black has absolutely NO comfort around the ankle. I don't feel I should have to adjust and buy different socks to accommodate the constant rub against my heel. I know if I were to wear it any longer than I had, it would've broke some skin. In other notes though. I would still buy from Zappos because not only was it free shipping. But, they sped up shipping and came only a day after I ordered. That's some real service. Thank you.

At first I was a bit leery on the sizing and the look of the shoe but it was time to replace my chucks and I took a chance - and I'm glad I did. This shoe looks great and is very comfortable, the sizing runs like Chuck Taylors but the fit is definitely better and the sole is amazing. The look is flashy yet casual, I have been getting a lot of compliments (my gf likes the griffin). I will continue to buy Macbeth shoes and hope to spread the word!

This is a great shoe if you aren't planning on running or walking a ton. The feel of it is simply relaxed. When I'm wearing them my stride feels good and comfortable. They have broken in quite well.
