Nice funky looking shoe a little uncomfortable around the ball of the foot but a gel inner sole cures that. Overall I'm happy with my purchase.

Great style, shoddy materials.
I love the look of Impulse shoes, and they're comfortable enough, but both pairs that I've purchased began to fall apart almost immediately. In the first pair, the stitching that holds together the different pieces frayed and the suede split along the side. I bought a second pair (the P5041) thinking it was a fluke. Within a week, the fabric loop holding the laces had almost completely ripped through. Hey Impulse: love your designs, but you need to up the quality!

Wow, excellent fit and finish for $100 boot. I was a little weary on the construction of the boot as well the lack of grip- brand new out of the box I was slipping on wood floors. After wearing them occasionally for three weeks now, the grip has improved. They look fantastic; the pictures do not do them justice. Everybody asks where did you get those Italian shoes. They look sharp for the price and are quite comfortable. Wasn't expecting that either- but I've worn them a whole work day and have not felt any discomfort. All around great boot.

Turns Heads but Wears Out -
I've had these shoes for about 8 months now and wear them pretty heavily. Everywhere I go people actually stop and compliment me (even Wally Mart). Most think they're boots if I wear them with stylish jeans. Unfortunately after only 8 months a hole opened right through the sole of the shoe and water comes in through the bottom. I honestly think they're extremely comfortable however. If you wear them a lot you'll also wear the heel and once the rubber wears off, the shoes are EXTREMELY loud on hard surfaces as wood meets tile.

Three main problems: The sole started coming apart the first week, the color of the sandals rubbed off on my feet the first day, plus the thong caused my toes to turn red.

Bad shoe quality -
I just recently received the Impulse shoe. These are by far the most uncomfortable shoe that I have worn in ages! The quality is unbelievably crappy. It looked like a little malnourished Indonesia kid put these together. Also I noticed there was no liner inside the shoe, just bare nothing. The shoe's were not even put together right. For a person who runs six miles a day these shoes just are not right!

I agree that you should order a half size smaller. I did that and they were a good fit, however, the curve in the sole was way more than I could deal with. It made walking very uncomfortable. I felt like my toes were pointing at the ceiling. Also, I found the overall appearance to be a bit costume in person, so I returned them.

Great on style, just OK on fit -
These boots look much better than in the photos provided-- very rich texture and great color. The fit is quite a bit larger than marked. I have narrow feet, and the boots are easily a size larger than stated. The sole is a quiet, grippy rubber-- not loud, hard leather.

Zappos Impulse is a great shoe, but this isn't all the colors. Blue, baby blue & gray saw it in a mall in Memphis, TN. but didn't have my size. I have the black and gray ones just like the brown ones you have online.

Very stylish.
Tried to order this shoe in Tan/Bamboo color but they were not in my size. I ordered them in the blue/black. These shoes seem to be of very high quality thought I haven't worn them in the ice and snow yet. The shoes feel to be a half size larger than marked. Overall I have no regrets in getting this shoe even thought it was now my first choice of color. However I find myself liking the color. I do plan to order these shoes in tan/bamboo next. Thanks for being such a great company. It took just 24 1/2 hours from the time of order till they were in my hands.

Sharp looking -
I'm always looking for stylish lace-ups. This is a really cool looking shoe. It is a bit stiff but I think it will break in well. I would order at least 1/2 size smaller. Based on comments from others for this brand it seems to run large. I usually wear a 10-10 1/2 but ordered 9 1/2. Good choice.

The interesting toe, which is the feature that drew me to this boot, is also the feature that makes this a special-occasion-only boot, in my opinion. I don't recommend wearing them for any longer than a few hours. Even though they feel really comfortable on my feet, they've wreaked havoc on my lower back. I guess I should stick to my Birkenstock and Earth shoes.

Cool new boots -
Fit about a half size bigger, so I added a comfort sole. It fits great now; I haven't hurt my feet at all. Look good and recommended for the casual out on the town boot type guy.

Sizing is WAY OFF!
This is a modern great looking shoe, however, the sizing is waaay off. I usually wear a 10.5, but for this shoe, I had to go all the way down to a 9!

Oh boy is this feels great!!
Why aren't all the shoes not made with the same leather? This is a very comfortable shoe. I can wear it all day with the same great feeling. The best part is that the leather covers the major part of the foot.
Feeling: It feels like lambskin on your feet.

This shoe is pimp! Jeans or slacks, don't matter. It's a nice pair of shoes that complements a casual or a sophisticated style. The comfort level is not a 5 because simply it's a pair of leather dress shoes. But even within that category, it is comfortable never the less.

Hot sexy sandal -
This sandal is to die for. What a look with casual linen pants or shorts. They are very comfortable and snug. I would order a size up as I bought them in brown 11 and my heel is slightly over the end.

Looks can be deceiving -
They look really cool, but to wear them is a different story. They feel cheaply made and the bottoms are too thin or the material was of poor quality and selection. Knew others that were going to order the similar color, but advised them against it.
