Dazzling -
I have the blue/taupe version of this shoe. This shoe stuns everyone that sees it. I could not be happier with it; it defines my sense of style. However, it’s not perfectly comfortable while walking. It's not a shoe you want to wear if you have to walk long distances or be on your feet for a long time, but the looks and the comments you get make it a “must have”!!!

At the Opera as Goldilocks -
The first pair I ordered felt a half size too small. Zappos, in the typically excellent customer service, replaced them with the next size up. These felt a half size too big. Frustrating. I needed them and with no time left wore them. I suggest looking for a different pair of shoes unless you have feet with an in-between size.

I had high hopes for these shoes as they looked very stylish and gorgeous in the photos, but they were hardly what I expected. I found the width of the shoe to be very tight and the color and styling of the shoe left a lot to be desired as well.

This shoe looks great and is just as pictured. They feel a little narrow, but they still fit okay. You can't really tell until you put them on, but they are really long on the toe and have that very pointed look. If that's not what you're looking for, then you shouldn't get these shoes.

Mezlan is a hit!
This boot is unbelievably comfortable. Usually that means that you have a shoe that is not fashion forward. Not the case here. If you wear a large size, normally you do not have a lot of choices. I have looked to this brand for a lot of types and styles of footwear and would rate this at that top. Buy the boot and enjoy Mezlan.

Bummer!
Bought these for my husband. Loved the look, but after two days of wear, he had huge sores on his feet. He has narrow feet so we were surprised that this happened. Would think that these would end up being even less comfortable for those with a normal width.

Not what I expected -
I have been wearing Mezlan shoes religiously for years, and unfortunately, I ran into a bad shoe. The look is good, but it is important to know that these do not have a shiny appearance, and aren't meant to.
I continue to get blisters everytime I try and wear them and they are extremely uncomfortable. I finally gave up after a couple months.

This was my first time using Zappos. I had never even heard of Zappos before placing this order and had to reserve my judgment on their service and product delivery until I had tried them. Final Result: Perfection! The product arrived right on time and it was perfect. I will use Zappos for all my shoe shopping needs!

Awful, uncomfortable -
These shoes wear very quickly. On top of that, the crease lines formed by walking become discolored, like the dye they used on the shoe breaks down quickly. Also, the shoe refuses to break in. This shoe needs to be discontinued very quickly.

Great shoes, a little tight.
These shoes look amazing.
They are a little tighter than their sizing, but will stretch in time.
The monk strap is very hard to fully re-buckle due to the metal at the end of the strap.

As I said, great shoe! Put them on right out of the box and felt like a pair of slippers. In person they look modern yet with a definitive stylish flair [the box toe front]. Zappos free overnight delivery rocks as well. I placed my order @ 4:20 pm EST and received them at my house @ 2:30 pm EST then very next day.

Best shoe ever -
My wife bought me these shoes for Christmas. I was a bit skeptical -- but as soon as I put them on, I was in heaven. These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn -- like slippers for my feet but I am wearing dress shoes. Amazing looking and unbelievably comfortable.

Because of an injury I have some bones in my foot that protrude downward. To avoid wearing orthotics (I have them and hate them) it is difficult to find comfortable shoes that also look good. I have several pairs of Ecco shoes and though they are comfortable, they are not as comfortable as the Mezlan Lepanto shoe is for me. This is also a great looking shoe - personally, I would never wear it with jeans. It is also important to me that a shoe breathe well and not make my feet sweat a lot indoors and then freeze them when I go outside in cold weather. On this point the Mezlans also shine. I wish I could tell you that these shoes are long-lasting, but I've only had them two months now, but they sure do seem to be well-made! I also have a few pairs of Mephisto shoes which are just as comfortable as the Mezlans are for me, but they do cost more. You know, I really hate that I feel the need to be anonymous in these reviews because I would love to talk to people in person about them, but we all know how important anonymity is on the internet these days...And I am so appreciative of Zappos because it makes it possible for me to try on so many different shoes so that I can find the ones that will work for me - and they make it so unbelievably convenient! Thanks Zappos!

I just purchased these Mezlan Bono's a few weeks ago, so my experience is short. However, they are the most comfortable dress shoes I have even worn. They wear like an expensive Mercedes drives. The look is simple and elegant, beautiful crocodile band, with nice whip stitching which will hopefully withstand the test of time. The brown color is milk-chocolate, which is nice but why I gave it a 4 in the look category, could stand to be a little darker. I have a narrow foot and these fit me very well, no slipping. I ordered the 9.5 and 10 and kept the 10. The 9.5 was a little tight. I would certainly consider another pair of Mezlans based on what I seen so far.

Mezlan - Well Worth The Wait...
I saw the Mezlan Walsh shoe on the Zappos site and was instantly enamored. I've been wearing Mezlan almost exclusively for over 10 years. They make beautiful, well-made shoes that have continually impressed over the years. Of course, they weren't available in my size, so I requested notice if they became available. I have an old pair of Mezlan slip-ons with a croc toecap that I've re-soled twice. I still love them, but when I saw the Walsh, I knew it was time to add a new croc to my family of shoes. I got notice they were available in my size and I ordered them right away. Zappos had them to my door in a day. Service rocks as usual. When I got these shoes, it was like Christmas morning! They are beautiful. Already received two compliments on the first day of wearing them.

These Mezlans are very nice formal oxfords. Despite being patent leather, they are comfortable right out of the box. I have given them 4 stars on comfort because they are not sneakers, but doubt a formal shoe could be more comfortable.

I think Mezlan is my new favorite. I've been wearing Bruno Magli for years now, and Mezlan is just as fine of craftsmanship as Bruno Magli. And they have a much more stylish line. The only word for the Gilby is Luxury. Really soft uppers, full leather lining, and the cognac coloring is beautiful. Fits perfectly to size. And with Zappos, it seems you barely hang up the phone and they're at your doorstep. Service beyond compare.

These are nice looking shoe. However, mine were about 1/2 size under marked, and very narrow. Had to get worked over at the repair shop to correct this. Also, this shoe has little padding. If you are going to wear for 8 hours be warned. Comfort? I will go for another brand next time around.

Excellent quality & comfort for the price, but this is to be expected from shoes from Spain. I've had Italian shoes that cost three times as much as this shoe, & weren't nearly as well made or as comfortable. I'm contemplating buying a second pair of these.
