Hello, My name is Catherine G and I called customer service on the afternoon of Tuesday May 5, 2009 regarding ordering a pair each of men's and women's dress shoes. I don't remember the person's name who I talked to, but I would like to extend a personal thank you to her. To fully explain my gratitude, I need to go over some background information. I returned from a horrible cruise on Monday May 4, 2009 where the cruise line lost my husband's and my luggage that contained our dress shoes we previously purchased with Zappos. I graduated on Friday May 8, 2009, so it was important that I re-order our shoes and have them before Friday. The customer service agent I spoke with was very helpful and extremely sympathetic to our lost luggage problem. When I requested the specific shoes I ordered in the past, she mentioned to me that she could order my husband's shoes, but my size was no longer available. I was quite upset, but she mentioned that the size I needed may come in soon and she could order them for me then. I mentioned the reason for needing the shoes in a hurry and she was truly sorry. She wished me congratulations on graduating pharmacy school and offered to look for different dress shoes for me. I am a difficult fit in shoes and decided to look at the website instead and order my shoes from there. I was able to find a pair I liked and am very happy with my purchase. On Saturday May 16, 2009, she brought a wonderful smile to my face and this is the reason I would like to thank her the most. I received flowers from Zappos.com congratulating me on my graduation. I have recently been stressed out at my lost luggage situation and haven't had much time to relax. This beautiful bouquet of flowers that was sent to me was one of the nicest things that has happened to me. I was smiling the whole day and I was even able to put the lost luggage out of my mind. Please extend my appreciation to this customer service agent. She not only helped me in my time of need, she was able to cheer me up when things were particularly stressful. I would also like to thank Zappos.com for such wonderful service. Every time I order shoes, I am completely satisfied. Thank you for making shoes shopping easier for me as I have difficulty in finding size 11 shoes. I have often told people to shop at Zappos.com for their shoes and I will continue to do so.
