These shoes are too narrow. For years I have worn size 8AAAA and I never thought I would find a shoe that was actually too narrow but this one is. I could not even get it on my right foot. The length seemed fine on the left foot but it runs extremely narrow. Too bad they do not make a AAA width. The AA will be too wide. Very well-made shoe however.

These shoes fit my 8.5 M feet well and can be worn all day with comfort. I purchased them in black and brown to wear to work every day. (The brown is so dark and I have to take care not to wind up wearing one black and one brown shoe!) Their appearance is similar to a boot when worn with pants, yet without the bulk and hassle of a boot. The high-cut design with gusset and no opening requires a shoehorn to put them on without damaging the backs. Their smooth, soft leather looks good and provides comfort, but shows wear quickly.

Nice shoes. I like the thicker heel for stability while walking and the leather feels nice and soft. These shoes are easy to get into.\r\n\r\nI generally wear a size 7M,(my left foot is slighty bigger than my right foot) but tried these on in a store in a 6.5 wide and the fit was very good (with thin socks). The store did not have the black in stock. I had two choices, the store would order for me, told me two weeks delivery time or their 2nd store had them in a size 7 and could get them to me in 4 days. Having tried the 6.5, I was worried the 7M might be too big after I waited 4 days to get them.\r\n\r\nI came home, went online to Zappos and had them in 2 days. They would have come faster, but there was no UPS delivery on Thanksgiving. I ordered the 6.5W and am happy with the fit.\r\n\r\n\r\n

I don't usually take time to write product reviews, but I sympathize with women who, like me, suffer with shoes that don't fit well because they can't find shoes that do. I am a professional woman in my early 50s; I wear tailored suits to work; and I like a bit of heel, even when I wear jeans for going out. My look is classic, and my feet are wide, particularly in the front. In addition, I'm developing some foot and toe problems from many years of wearing shoes that don't fit as well as they should, even though I spend countless hours trying to find them and improve fit and comfort with various products such as insoles, arches, non-slip pads, band aids, etc. My Birkenstocks and Danskos are comfortable, but they just don't work with my suits. I took a chance on Munro because BeautiFeel has discontinued its Tatiana shoe, which I settled for a couple of years ago. Not a bad shoe. However, Munro is the shoe and brand I should have been wearing all along. Tatum is great out of the box. Due to previous experience with fit, I ordered a size up plus wide because I have never found a shoe, other than SAS, that is a true 8.5 WW. Also, I was influenced by one review which characterized this shoe as narrow and advised ordering a size up. So my first order had to be returned because it was too big. My next order was perfect: a perfect fit, the classic, no frou-frou look I like, and not one bit orthopedic or heavy-looking. Nice design, Munro! Out of the box, on to work, a day of pounding around to and from my desk and around the CDC Campus where I work, and then home where I suddenly realized that my feet didn't hurt. A week later, taking my shoes off is not my first thought when I get home. I could even walk my dog in my Munro Tatum's after wearing them all day at work. They've passed the test. Now I'm waiting for Zappos to receive another pair so I can have a backup. I may order two pairs because I'm worried Munro will decide to change the style or discontinue it for goodness knows what reason. I'm also planning to order other styles of Munro shoes. I need a comfortable pump to wear with skirts and have just ordered a pair. There is hope for all day comfort in a classically styled shoe that looks good with suits.

A terrific hybrid of a shoe and boot that looks really stylish with slacks. The fit is snug over the instep, but very comfortable overall. The higher heel is a bit dressier and gives just the right amount of lift for a longer silhouette. It\'s great for the office, but also works for city walks.

I just received my pair of Tatums (dark brown) and am wearing them as we speak. If you are looking for shoes that are "hot" and trendy, keep on looking. But if you are seeking shoes that feel like you could wear them non-stop for the rest of your life, you have come to the right place. I am always a bit reluctant to wear new shoes to work because I ride the bus downtown and if I am in pain I have no recourse but to wait until almost eleven hours later to take them off (there's just so much stuff I can carry with me). But these new shoes are (you should excuse the expression) the bomb! They feel snug but not tight and have great support. I have very high insteps, but these shoes are no problem at all. The toe box, while sleek looking, is very roomy and my toes don't feel cramped at all. To my mind they are designed to wear with pants, which is the primary element in my work wardrobe and they look rather like quality boots when the pants hang straight down. This isn't my first pair of Munros and it will most certainly not be my last. These folks know their shoes and use a last that feels almost custom-made for me. As I said, if you are looking for trendy, this ain't it, but if you want comfort, fit and classic good looks, these are the shoes and Munro is the company to buy from (through Zappos of course).

Wow! I love these shoes. I bought them in dark brown which is quite dark; nice color. The leather is soft and supple. The heel is a nice height. I chose a wider size than I typically wear (based on an earlier Munro experience) and they are perfect. Love 'em!

If you are ordering this shoe, you better go up half a size, or at least a wider width. I ordered my usual size 6 narrow, which was both too short and too narrow. I had ordered the brown and black, both of which I sent back. Zappos Customer Service is unparalleled. It remains my favorite source for shoes!

These are the best shoes on the face of the earth. I am a teacher and stand all day, the floors are hard, and I have issues with my left foot. I hope these will be available forever. They are comfortable and so stylish. At first they may feel a bit snug. Don't return them. They seem to "mold" to your own feet. The best shoes I have ever owned. I could walk to NYC wearing them.
