I received these shoes yesterday and they were prettier in person; however, this is the first pair of Munro's that haven't fit. They were too narrow for a wide and too short for an 8 1/2. I have always bought Munro's online without having to try them on and they've consistently fit until these. I still like them, I just need to order a different size.

This is a beautifully made (in America!) shoe. I found it ran a bit narrower than marked, though the leather is so buttery soft, it may have stretched enough in time. Unfortunately, the heel slipped on my foot, a problem I often have, so maybe not a fault of this particular shoe. I didn't notice the mention of a hidden inside wedge, but it made the shoe more comfortable than a flat ballet style.

Based on the reviews I ordered a 1/2 size larger than normal, and it they fit perfectly. Thank to the previous reviewer. I love these shoes.

This shoe was incredibly painful. I have never had a problem with a Munro shoe, but like one of the other reviewers here, I found the heel on this killed me. I have very painful blisters, tried to fight back by stretching the shoe, and may have to throw it out. Grrrrrr.

Nice styling but I have to return it, as it feels a half-size smaller than normal.

Nice basic shoe. The last for this shoe runs on the wide side. If you get a wide width, know that it will have more width than some of the other Munro lasts. I'll have to wear socks with these, but for winter that will be fine.

Nice to see a stylish shoe come in narrow sizes. There isn't any arch support which is disappointing and the heel slips badly causing the stitching to rub. I'm going to try a different size because I like the style.

I wear an 8 1/2 W in Munro, and this is the first pair of Munros ever that has not fit perfectly. It's difficult to tell if the width is accurate because the length is so far off. These feel like they're at least a full size too short and probably not wide enough. In case you're wondering whether this is just an anomaly of a single pair or color, I had ordered the shoe in 2 different colors, and both pair fit/didn't fit in exactly the same way. Kudos for style.

This shoe is a good compromise for comfort plus dressiness. It fits very close due to the narrowing of the toe. I had to go up a half size. The black design piece in the top does not stretch. It's not made of elastic as it looks and has no give. But the cut of the top is very good since it comes up higher on the foot than many flats.

I love Munro, but have a hard time with sizing. I have a casual pair of Munros at 9.5, and they feel large. So I purchased 9.5 of this because of the feedback that they run small. I had to return them because they were too tight. I'm ordering a 10. The size ranges seem out of whack for the same brand of shoe. I do like the way they look and feel, so I hope the 10 will work.

I was very disappointed in these shoes. The insole was a very thin and the did not provide the soft comfort typical of Munro shoes. They are going back.

Thought the leather was going to be soft but found them kind of stiff. I love Munron shoes but had to return this one.

I found the toe box a little constricting - definitely no wiggle room. Overall, the shoe wasn't as supple as I had hoped for this brand. Also, it seemed a bit wide. The elastic didn't seem to serve any purpose - it didn't help keep the foot in place; not as effective as a strap across the foot.

Okay, I never spend this much on a pair of shoes, but with my wide feet, bunions and hammertoes, my feet hurt all the time. I have to look professional on the job, so in lieu of buying cheap flats at Payless, I tried these. Never heard of the brand before, but ahhhhhh... first try out of the box and I knew these were made for my feet alone!

Ordered these in a size 12 Bronze and they fit perfectly, as well as giving moderate arch support which I need and is hard to find in flats. Also they are comfortable and padded inside-some Munro shoes fit perfectly and I am a big fan of this brand, but please, at age 50 plus we need comfort, not hard inside soles!So, a keeper. Love the color too- goes with anything.If only they( or any Munro's for that matter) came in a navy I would buy a second pair.
