I love every pair of Munro shoes I have purchased and loved these too but the leather tore after wearing them only 10 times. I am sending them back.

For the price of this shoe, very disappointed in the quality of leather. Very wrinkled looking and leather does not look the same on both shoes.

For the price of this shoe, very disappointed in the quality of leather. Very wrinkled looking and leather does not look the same on both shoes.

These shoes are very well made and very comfortable. I have mid-foot arthritis and struggled to find dress shoes I could wear. These worked, primarily for the motion control the strap provides. It can be hard to accept paying so much for a pair of shoes, but they are well made. The shoes also have a steel shank, which most better made shoes have to better support the arch area. I like these shoes because they are made on a combination last. The ball of the foot area is larger than the heel area, which is the same for my feet. Most American-made shoes medium width are truly B width (European medium is C width). My foot requires a C width. I got these shoes in the D width, but I have orthotics in them so the width is perfect. Looking at the shoes, I would never guess they were wide width, unlike some shoes.

What's not to love about Munro shoes? Finally finding a stylish shoe for those of us hard to fit was heaven. I also love that they are made in America and that I feel stable in the non slip sole. Some Monro lasts are a little less wide (in wide width size) than others and this is one of them. But, I have a shoe stretcher that made just enough difference and I was able to make them comfortable. Highly recommend!

I'm sorry I have to return these. The toe box was too narrow. Everything else was perfect.
