I love these shoes and have them in black as well as taupe. I know they come in brown as well, but Zappos doesn’t have them in that color. They are so comfortable, they are more comfortable than my good sneakers, and I wear and walk in them all day without any discomfort. Munro, in general, runs a bit narrower than other brands, and so I take them in one extra width (2E) than other shoes, but it’s like having nothing on your feet at all except support. Great shoe & decent looking as well, if you need a wide, supportive shoe.

I was looking for a comfortable walking shoe that I can use while in Europe and tennis shoes do not work for me. I found these shoes to be very comfortable and better looking than tennis shoes.

These are good-looking shoes, especially because the suede is so intensely black. I'd recommend them for comfort shoes that you can wear to work. They were not right for me, though, because the shoe pressed down on the top of my instep, and loosening the strap made the rest of the shoe too loose.

Love this shoe, fit is great. Have both D fitting and normal fitting depending on what sock I chose to wear. Looks nice without looking frumpy!! My own complaint is that because the toe area is black suede, after a few wears it has started to look a bit scuffed which is a disappointment. I did take it to a shoe repair to see if black suede renew would refresh the colour and was told this happens to all dark suede because of the nap.

This is probably the most comfortable shoe that I own, and that is saying a lot! I own this shoe in both the brown and black versions and they have become my go-to trouser shoe. I need a shoe that will stay on my foot due to health issues. The velcro closure allows for quite a bit of leeway in case your feet swell, or as is my case, one foot is a half size shorter than the other. My feet are very wide but the shoe has an elegant taper to the toe that does not bind or hinder. I wear a 12WW so this shoe could look mannish but does not. Heel is minimal which is important but enough to give the shoe proportion. The shoe’s very lithe and flexible on my feet. My one real beef is that Munro has a lot of shoes in nubuck finishes, which I immediately manage to mess up. Wore the black version of the shoe (brand new, out of the box ... confidence in Munro is 100%) to the McCartney concert at The Hollywood Bowl. Broke my heart, some bozo stepped on my toe and ruined the nubuck. Boo. Great shoe in plain colors ...they really need to do this one is some other combos. Do not like the two-tones or patent version. Buy this shoe and walk, walk, WALK in comfort. Zappos as always, bueno.

I just spent twelve days walking around London, Paris, and Amsterdam in theses shoes. They are terrific! I have long, narrow, and flat feet. Walking great distances is always hard for me. These shoes fit perfectly and were extremely comfortable and stylish. Munro shoes are quickly becoming my favorite shoe to wear. Zappos is my favorite place to buy shoes. Zappos, thank you for making this so easy.

This shoe combines elegant styling with comfort and support. I have a foot problem (Morton's neuroma), and use an orthotic. I also have a very narrow foot. I have pretty much been limited to comfort shoes that lace up and had been yearning for something dressier, and after much trial and error (thank you Zappos)! I found this shoe. I can't wear it all day, but I can go several hours without pain. Some people might find the toe area a bit narrow, for me it is fine.

Great shoe, my third pair of this model. I have had same style in black and gray for several years and wear them all of the time. Wonderful for walking. They do run a little large as I usually wear 9's but like these in 8 1/2. I put a small insert in the heel, as I do in most all of my shoes. Really helps that Monro has removable insole. Also love Zappo selection and service.

This review probably won't be of help to others, because of how I'm using these shoes. I bought them to bike with, since I have stirrup pedals and don't like those hard shoes I can't walk in. I have another pair of Munros and have found them super comfortable. So I ordered the same size, 8W, and found they weren't the same size, exactly. They're much wider, and I can't adjust the velcro strap to be any tighter. The heel slips a lot.I also almost trashed them on the C&O Canal, it was so muddy. But my shoe repair guy did a good job cleaning them up, so I'll be wearing them for a long time. They're too expensive not to. I'm still going to use them to bike. They're much safer than shoes with laces, and they're certainly comfortable and like slippers! I wear my orthotics on top of the insole and still have plenty of room.

I have a narrow foot and also wear orthotics. Until Munro came out with this shoe I was stuck in tennis shoes. It's wonderful to be wearing a dressier shoe that is comfortable and accommodates my orthotics and also narrow.

I purchased these shoes right before a trip to Europe. I wanted a comfortable walking shoe that was not a tennis shoe for touring. I wore them non-stop for days and they were very comfortable from the start. They are easy to get on and off at the airport. I will definitely buy them in other colors if I can. They fit true to size and come in widths which I really like, as my foot is a bit wide. I ordered a 8 1/2 D and the fit is perfect.

These shoes are pretty good for everyday when one does not want to wear gym shoes. I give them points for fitting and not causing me pain. The appearance is OK, but are only suitable for very casual wear. I wish they were cut more rounded toward the toe area for even more comfort.
