MSR Reviews
This kit is nice for camping. We have a duffel bag we keep our utensils in, and this is a must pack. I like that you can fold them down and store them. Sometimes in the morning we may walk to a friend's camp site for breakfast, and with the utensils folding down you can carry them much easier with multiple things. The cutting board is not the best, but overall, it is worth the money, and MSR stuff is built to last.
Love this product. I bought it back in 2004 and I have cooked on camping and also use it as a stove for cooking on my home and other activities.
The Dragonfly is known for it's reliability. It is also known for sounding like a jet engine when used on higher settings. The amazing thing is that even with the small diameter of the stove, it actually is able to simmer very well. This is important for cooking delicate dishes. The big legs fold down to a manageable size and is very stable for all cookware. It's my go-to workhorse stove on longer trips and when the weather requires me to get away from canister stoves. When I hear it's roar in the morning, I know that coffee is never far away.
