My son is starting culinary school and these shoes were recommended by not only the school, but experienced chefs. The shoes run a bit large. He is usually an 8 1/2-9 and the 8 1/2 fits best. Although we have to order a 3rd time because the right shoe seemed to be stretched out as if it was a sample shoe that was tried on many times more than the left shoe...odd, but I know Zappos will rectify.

These shoes are just as cute in person as in the picture. The non-slip bottom and water resistant coating work. They did have to be broken in but the insole is very nice. If you want to wear them with socks I suggest ordering a half size larger.

This will be my second pair. These are the best kitchen shoes ever. These shoes combine elements of what other kitchen shoes have into one fashionable package. It is the breathability of a Croc, the top of a Birk, the grippy feeling of a Dansko, without the lift. The only bad part is the stitch around the top started to come apart after about six months, but they still had plenty of grip.

I purchased these in early march and couldn't have been happier. As a chef who runs a kitchen and can be on my feet for up to 10 or 11 hours a day they were exactly what I was looking for. My only complaints are that the inner fabric in the shoes has started to tear apart and the leather outer shell of the left shoe has torn from the sole. Overall I have been happy with my purchase and will be giving them one more try!

Lasted 1 year of near daily use before beginning to fall apart. Traction still mostly intact: decreasing on ball and heel of foot.. I used them for restaurant work. After 1 one year the seam of the rubber on the front of my left foot separated. I will likely buy another pair.

These shoes were exactly what I was looking for. I am a HVAC tech and am on my feet all day having to kneel and bend my foot alot. These shoes give me the support and comfort needed. I like them so much that I bought a 2nd pair.

I love these shoes. I thought I'd probably return them because they'd look clunky or my foot would slip out. I wore them 3 days in a row, my feet didn't hurt nor slip out of the shoe. Very comfortable indeed. The heel is really cute with that cut out.

I love these shoes! I've had them for about a month now and I can't imagine getting a different brand of kitchen shoes again. I wore them to work the day after I got them, expecting blisters. I had none. They're super comfy, but if you need more support I would get an insole. All around great shoes.

I bought these because they looked much more stylish than most chef shoes. They are comfortable shoes if you walk around a lot, but killer on your heels if you stand in one place for extended periods (I work in pastry production). Inserts/orthotics did not improve the heel discomfort. Biggest negative - the shoes have already separated from the sole and I just bought them less than five months ago. I have read a few other reviews listing the same problem. For the price paid, I expected them to last a lot longer. I would not recommend them nor would I repurchase them since they deteriorated so quickly.

Adorable shoe with elastic gussets on the tongue - I wear them without laces. The left shoe broke in with a strange bend over the joint for my big toe which is uncomfortable for the first half hour of wear, but otherwise pretty comfy. Not professional-level comfy, which I expected for the price, but the non-slip sole works as promised.

Look adorable! And fit great, however, if you wear these for 9 hours and day five days a week, they don't feel nearly as comfortable as some of the sneakers I've worn with better arch support. Luckily you can remove the insoles so I maybe investing in an insole with some arch support and will see how that goes! Probably the most stylish kitchen shoes I can find. Relatively breathable, but my feet still sweat in our hot bakery.

I love these shoes. They fit very well (I've got a small foot) they are comfortable and attractive. I'm a fan. I put in my own inserts for extra arch support.

Very cute shoe. I usually take a 7.5 and I ordered both 7.5 and 8 and kept the 7.5. The 8 was a bit lose on one foot. Although they seemed tight at first they stretched out and are now comfy. I wore them all day at work and they are fine. They look great with tights and skirts.

I have owned mine for a while and had other Mozo shoes before. They did not last more than a month with out ripping apart from inside out. Very low quality seems to be the problem here. I also have other Mozo shoes that have had some sort of stitching problems as well. They need to get their quality level on par with their price tags. They look great but cannot stand the use. If you get one, never use them in the kitchen.

I ordered these from MOZO's official website because I couldn't find my size on Zappos. I am a server at a busy seasonal resort and very often have to cover split shifts. Anyway, the shoes are comfortable and casual, insoles are better than average. They are definitely slip resistant but do not offer the necessary support for a busy work environment. Which I guess I could see coming. After a couple of months of wearing the back heel area is ruined and makes them impossible to wear. They were comfortable but not appropriate for hectic work. I guess you can't get semi cute heavy duty work shoes.

I wanted to like this shoe as I wanted a comfortable black shoe with height for my 12 hour shifts. Unfortunately it is a joke for this price. I really don't understand the positive reviews! It is Mish mosh pieced together shoe with a hole under the arch and a sole glued on as an apparent afterthought. Disappointed.

I used to wear Converse All Stars in the kitchen, but needed a shoe with non-slip soles. The Mozos fit great, are really comfortable and no more sliding around! The only downsides are that there is not a lot of arch support (but I'm used to that from wearing Cons) and the black treated canvas shows and holds every spill, especially flour. I'll definitely be buying these again.

These are well made, and reliably waterproof and slipproof. The button on the ankles is not red on my pair, but silver. A bit less comfortable than I like, but I hope to adapt to them.

I never buy shoes online unless they're a repeat buy. Never had luck. I wear a 9.5, and my feet are slightly on the narrow side, but I bought these in a 10 because I was adding orthotic insoles which are kind of thick. I needed new work shoes desperately so I took a chance in these. They fit perfectly once I put in my thick insole on top of the flat insole already in them. These don't really have an arch. Without the insole they definitely were a little big on me, but again - I wear 9.5 typically so I think these are true to their 10. I recommend added insoles!! My rating for comfort will be based on the shoe as is. Otherwise, these shoes are great once insoles are added. A little stiff at first, but I find them to be sturdy/supportive with all the walking I do. And great that they're nonslip! The sole seems pretty well made so far. I feel that these shoes will last me a good while!

I am not in the food service industry, but was seeking a comfortable pair of shoes for my concrete floored workshop. Instead of those anti-fatigue mats, my wife suggested chef's shoes. (She is brilliant and that is the subject of another review.) The shoes arrived on schedule and the style is just what I wanted. Only issue was that the shoes were a tight fit in 12 EEE, even with thin socks, let alone the wool socks I am partial to. Width seemed fine albeit a bit snug, I figured that would stretch over time. But the length and even width at the rounded full "Kelso" toe, it felt cramped, even with the flexible "up a half-size/down a half-size" inserts removed. I did not walk around in them, so this is just a first impression on size, they were that tight. I reordered them up a size. That aside, it is hard to beat the Zappos' return policy and ease of use. Hats off to their management and software product team.

I thought this was cute and different. Sadly, the 8.5 is too short and my toe hits the end. Plus they look pretty puffy or roundish on my foot. I'm returning them.
