I purchased a pair of Lava Range in late July and it is now a month later and they are falling apart. I did not even get them wet, they are just junk.
Brands I'd also recommend: merrell

The Mountrek is a very light weight and comfortable shoe for walking, but not really for hiking since its a slip-on. but for everyday use, they're very nice.
Brands I'd also recommend: Keen, Clarks
