Mountain Hardwear fits generously. I ordered a large and it did fit. This is not a compression type of legging so the fit is light to the skin. The style is flattering but there is not much give in the skirt due to the stylish accent piping. I did end up returning this item because I have big hips and felt I had limited range of motion in the skirt. I might have kept it if it had a draw string tie in the waist. The waist fit was also loose. This item is perfect for jogging and maybe light weight training.
