    Mountain Hardwear Hilo Messenger Reviews

I loved this bag for the first few weeks that I had it. The size is great. The laptop sleeve is snug. The material is beyond almost every other bag I've seen. The dedicated phone & iPod pouches is a brilliant touch. The buckle across the opening is another nice feature. What kills me, though, and what kills my review of this otherwise awesome bag, is the strap buckle. Now, my bag might have my MBP and a couple books weighing it down, but I'm not a heavy walker, yet with every step I take, I can feel the strap coming further undone. Coming down the stairs or walking briskly through the airport (as I did yesterday), I could feel the bag falling, inches at a time.

Fantastic item for my son to use for high school. He actually uses it in place of a duffle bag with his sports clothes, and said it's much more comfortable to carry than a duffle bag. Plenty of pockets for storage, and compartments keep his wet towel and swim suit separate. Blue and yellow are perfect matches for his school colors.

Hate this bag. No outside pockets or zippers. Have to open bag to get your hands on anything. Not convenient at all.
