I love this shoe! I run ultra marathons and like having a lightweight, flexible shoe. This is perfect. It has great cushioning and I didn't have a single issue with fit or seams. I also have an average width foot and found these to fit like a glove (in a good way).

To make a long story short, these shoes made my feet bleed. My last two pairs of running shoes have been from Montrail and I loved them. I was so excited to get these. But, after a week and approximately 20 miles running in them, I can safely say, that these shoes are awful. This shoe has so many random seams and pokey things inside it felt like pinpricks all up and down the top and side of my foot. Today was the last straw for these shoes when I looked down and saw that my sock was bloody from where the shoes had rubbed raw my skin near the joint of my big toe. (And for the record, I don't have super narrow feet or super wide feet...they're pretty average.) Good thing these shoes look cute so I can wear them around casually, because I will not be running in them.

Great looking shoe but runs short and not too cushiony. Was not planning to run in these. Just for running around the city. But despite the fact they looked great they felt a little hard and I really need something super comfortable for all of the dashing around that I do. Not sure if I will order in a bigger size or look for something else.

I also love these shoes. I run very technical trails with them, from short (30 mins) to medium (2.5 hours). They last forever (well, trails are easier on the soles, anyway), are lightweight but cushy and supportive (I am a large framed woman), and grip very well on slippery rocks and scrabble. The only downside is I find them wide; I have an average width foot but have to lace these up super tight so I'm not swimming in them. I also don't size up 0.5 sizes as I do with road shoes. One of my vendors said these are discontinued, so I'm getting them now before a 25K trail race in CO next month! Enjoy.
