I love my new shoes and enjoy wearing them because, even though they are a little high for me, they are actually comfortable. The color is very nice too. I appreciate the prompt service you and quick delivery. I had them in time for a week-end trip. Thanks so much!

Really cute shoe. A big pricey for what it is, but I love the unusual style. Unfortunately, I had to return the shoe. The piece that goes between the toes seemed overly large. Really uncomfortable. I could tell just trying them on that I would be miserable after walking.

These sandals are beautiful but extremely uncomfortable. The braided parts cut into your toes and top of your feet and walking even a few steps is really painful. Not recommended.

JP - These are fabulous, high quality shoes. They are solidly made with thin leather that is both tough and lightweight-gorgeous. I'm not great walking in high heels over 3", and I do just fine in these. The apricot color is satiny and beautiful, with just the right kick of style to make them both slightly funky and refined. Can't say enough good things, I love them!

Soft Leather Boot With A Great Look - These were a bit tight when I first put them on. The leather is soft and in a few hours the boot loosened up, and now it fits perfect. I had to order a half size down. I read a review from another customer and they suggested ordering half size down. I typically wear an 8 and I ordered a 7.5. They fit perfect.

I bought these shoes in Grey and when they came I loved them........UNTIL I wore them..they are the MOST uncomfortable shoes to ever go on my feet and that is saying a lot because I have over 300 pairs. I love heels and find them easy to walk in but these shoes are horrible!! Your ankles will hurt and your whole foot aches once they are off.. I only wore them out to dinner and the only walking was from the car to the restaurant..I could barely stand it. I can't return them since I wore them out but I wish I could...don't do it no matter how good they look!

"You sexy thing" A beautiful and sexy shoe. The heel is much higher than expected but pretty comfortable. Since the heel is high your foot falls towards the front and leaves extra space in back so I found my shoe to be a 1/2 size bigger because of this.

Absolutely Gorgeous - This is a beautiful pair of boots. I only wished there was a review of it out anywhere out there so I didn't hem and haw over the purchase, but I'm glad I did and that's why I'm writing. Leather is supple; I don't think I'll need to worry about breaking these in because they feel great right out of the box. The craftsmanship looks superb and the styling is great, a form fitting riding boot that's very chic. I purchased another pair of high quality boots and there were a bit clunky compared to the Janet.

Great looking boots, Modern Vintage Frannie - These are beautiful, well designed, and well-crafted. My only reservation about them is the leather sole. It's traditionally crafted and beautiful, but it's uninsulated leather. These won't be warmer than shoes in winter and they will not stand up to virtually any amount of water. We're hoping for decent rains in northern California this year! Bottom line: a great addition to a wardrobe of boots, but be sure to have others for cold or damp/wet weather.

Hot Fall Boots! I love these boots my Modern Vintage. The leather is nice and they go with EVERYTHING. You can dress them up and pair them with a floral print dress with black tights for fall, short sweater dresses, or over leggings. They are flats but with a hidden wedge so you get a tiny boost in height. They are comfortable enough for all day wear. My only complaint is that the calf portion is a tad wide than my calves normal size but it doesn't detract much from the overall look. I also had to order a half size down. I am a true 8.5 but I had to order an 8 because the area around the toes and the heel was way too roomy. They are really riding boots with an edge that you can get a lot of different looks from mixing and matching your fall wardrobe.

Great Boots! These boots are so cute and incredibly comfortable. I have a little trouble getting them on, but I have an extremely high arch/instep. Once on, however, they are as comfortable as sneakers and very stylish. I love them!

For those with thin calves - I have muscular calves, but I'd say they're within a normal range and I couldn't get these boots on at all. I can't even say if they feel larger or smaller than marked because I couldn't get them past the middle of my calves. They do look beautiful, although to me look a little pointier in person. The zipper gives them a slightly "western" look. I have to send these back.

Another brand of shoe to look for - I am a shoe hound and always on the look out for a different take on the black pump, and this shoe more than qualifies. It is exactly what the brand name says - modern vintage. Very comfy for the heel height, able to be worn at work all day without problem. Take that statement for what it's worth from a career heel girl, though. ; ) That's why a 4 instead of 5 stars for comfort. They ARE heels, after all. I do get TONS of compliments and inquiries when I wear them. I'll be on the lookout for more Modern Vintage now that I've found these.

Goes both ways... Classy and Gorgeous, Meets Hip and Stylish. Comfortable boot for women with athletic legs. It had been next to impossible to find true knee high boots because I have muscular calves. These were 1 of 3 boots that I ordered that were supposedly wide shafted boots. Luckily these were my favorite choice because the other 2 didn't fit anyways. There is a slight gap at the top due to the slit, but it's part of the style. I also would have preferred a little higher heel, but because of the decorative stitch detail and high quality leather, it became a non-issue because the boot is perfectly shaped and balanced to the heel height. My one regret is the metal zipper that looks nice, but doesn't zip as smoothly as a nylon one would. I normally wear a size 7 shoe and 7.5 boot, so they were perfect. Can go funky with skinny jeans tucked in and urban wear, as well as trendy baby doll, trapeze, and shift style mini dresses.
