These are the third Wave Precisions I've purchased and probably the best of them all. They fit amazingly well, are extremely light, and right out of the box they felt like I had been running in them forever. The heel cup really holds my foot in place, and the mid sole really supports my high arches. I would recommend this shoe to anyone. Zappos is great too. The free shipping is great, and it seems like every order I've made seems to arrive early. Their mobile app is great too.

Ran 5 miles right out of the box on a treadmill and they felt great. I will be taking them on the road soon. Had a pair of Wave inspire 7 (that I enjoyed) that felt too heavy at times, these are perfect for what I do 18-20 miles a week. I ordered (like a always do with running shoes) a half size larger. As always Zappos delivered the next day, if you know your size there is no better way to order shoes.

I purchased these shoes after reading a review from a customer on Roadrunnersports that said these were very similar to the old Wave Rider 13; a 2010 release from Mizuno that they ruined in following years with the Wave Rider 14, 15, and 16. Why shoe companies do this I will never understand - so aggravating. That other reviewer was correct; these shoes are very much like the old Wave Rider 13 albeit a little lighter, so if those were an old favorite of yours that you miss, give these a try. This is a well constructed shoe made from durable materials. The heel to toe drop is somewhat slight and there is a minimal to moderate cushioned feel when running, so these shoes are better suited for a runner with an efficient neutral stride. Primarily designed for road running or racing, these shoes work well on trails too. My one complaint is the awful colors. I get that many people like the flashy look, but what is wrong with a version in black / gray? I feel like these colors are good for an old school San Diego Chargers fan, or for a tryout on the cast of Glee.

Overall I'm very pleased with the shoe. The outside of my left foot gets a little sore when running, but I assume that will fade once I break them in. Also the laces are so long. I will probably replace them with shorter laces. Overall great product.

Right out of the box did half marathon distance and the shoes felt like I have been running on them for a long time I have run in Nike, Asics, and my best by far had been Saucony Kinvara but these shoes are now my best out of the box shoes that I will be running San Diego Rock N roll Marathon with.
I'd also recommend: Soucony Kinvara style
