I usually run in the Asics Nimbus, but thought I would give these a try (to save a few bucks). I've run about 60 miles in these shoes in the past two weeks and wish I could trade them for the Asics. The support is not as good as the Asics and it doesn't have as much cushioning. It's not a bad shoe for lower miles, but I have noticed aches, that I haven't felt in my Asics, during the longer runs. I will not be looking to save a few bucks on my next pair of shoes - good running shoes are worth the price.

I am a neutral to mild overpronator and weigh slightly over 200 lbs. I really like the Nexus 5. It has great heel support and is light and nice and flexible. If anything is not ideal it's that it has a little less support than I would like under the ball of my feet. Probably not a big deal for a sub 5 mile run.

This is my third Wave Nexus, starting with 3 and 4. This model is different in that it seems to squeeze tightly on the back half of the ankle. I have gotten used to this change and am comfortable, but know that it's a bit different feeling than the Nexus 4.

My husband needed a size 12.5 and the stores didn't carry it. Easy ordering it from Zappos and they were at my door in two days. Very easy process, I used the SKU code on the shoe in the store and actually used my iPhone and looked up the shoes on Zappos and ordered the shoes while standing in the store. It was great!
