I have been a huge fan of Mizuno's Wave Inspire series since I started running in the Inspire 6's three years ago. I moved onto the Inspire 7's when they hit the shelves and am now rejoicing during my runs more than ever thanks to the Inspire 8's. I am a moderate to severe overpronator with sizable bunions and I run around 35-45 miles per week. The 8's have a somewhat wider toe box than the 7's, much more similar to the 6's toe box room but with more supportive cushioning. The heel design fits great and does not rise as high on the heel as the 7's design. The 8's have helped with my overpronation trememdously even more so that the 7's towards the end of their ware life. Aside from its faithful functionality, the 8's received very high style marks in my book. Mizuno never ceases to delight in their color offerings and the 8's did little to fall short in upholding this shoe company's flare for flash. The purple and black cushioning and stitching paired with a sparsing of yellow detail give this shoe a striking burst to be reckoned with on the road.

I run 20-30 miles per week. I previously had a pair of Nike's that I liked, but I love these. They have a firm sole that keeps my feet feeling good even on 8+ mile runs. I have high arches, so I put my own insert in, but I overall I love these shoes. I will probably get another pair next time I need new shoes.

These are great! They give my feet the support I need for long runs. Little to no effort to break in. True to size

I got these today. They feel great! The only problem is they are too tight over my toe at the end of the lacing. I wear orthodics and of course running socks requiring that I order larger sizes and widths. Usually a size 9 will fit my size 7 1/2 to 8 foot, but with these I'm going to try 9 1/2 or 10. Wish me luck!

I bought these along with a pair of Saucony. I was sure I was keeping these but I ended up returning them. The support wasn't as good as the Saucony. I felt pressure on certain parts of my foot and the tongue flap is way too long. These had great reviews and I'm sure they're great shoes, just not for me.

Love these shoes! Very comfortable on my wide, bony, sensitive feet. If you regularly wear Inspire, they are a much better fit and feel than the 7s. And the purple soles are just cool.

This is my first pair of Mizuno, it will not be my last. These arrived yesterday, I walked 10 miles in them today and they were, by far, the best shoe I've ever owned. I have a narrow foot and usually find New Balance footwear that works for me, but I'm a convert, this is my brand from now on!

I normally wear a size 8 shoe, but when measured at a running store, I learned that in Mizunos, I'm a 9. My first pair of Mizunos are out of this world- so when it came time to replace, I didn't hesitate. I stuck with a size nine, but this model seems like a slightly more loose size nine. I may have been more comfortable in an 8.5, but I decided to keep these due to time constraints. Overall, the look is feline without being ridiculous, the shoes are comfy and so far I've been quite happy...I think next time I might order 1/2 size down.

I must say was a little weary at first as I wore them around the house to break them in & they hurt my feet. I ran 11.5 miles the next day (crazy, I know) and did not have any problems! My feet didn't hurt a bit! I have purchased some cushioned orthotics as I need a little more cushion. But overall..I love them! Mizuno is such a great running shoe!!

I've been running with the Mizuno Wave Inspire for years now, and they're a great running shoe. The 8 series seems to run a little small though. I usually wear an 8 and I wish I'd ordered an 8.5 of this pair. I can feel the tip of my big toe scraping against the top of the shoe while I'm running and I didn't have that issue with other releases. Other than that, I love the color. Great shoe, great support.

I am a mild over pronator and I have medium arches. I had the Mizuno wave creation and wave rider a couple of years ago and loved them so I decided to try the Inspire. I run 35-50 miles a week and they are so great. Very little break-in was required and they felt wonderful on the first run! They are extremely light but supportive and attractive at the same time.

I just received these and after putting them on, I loved them. They are 9.5 D, same size I wear in Nike. They are snug but not tight. I may have to add a soft orthotic for heel support but after Asics 2170 9.5 D, with custom orthotics, I think these are better as is. I am a beginner jogger. Brooks were bulkier and unattractive and not as snug, just plush.

I have been running for a little over a year. My trainer introduced me to this store called Running Fit. I picked this shoe and it is great for my feet. I am looking to buy a new pair soon. My feet feel so comfortable in these shoes.

I love these shoes. I used to have the Wave Inspire 6, and I was happy to order the Inspire 8 in the same size and have them fit the same way. I feel like shoe companies redesign the shoes so much that you can't even guess your size from one version to the next. Not so in this case. The shoes are solid and are meant for runners who need "stability" shoes. If you're not used to stability running shoes, these may not be for you. The black laces threw me off a little at first, but now I think they look kind of tough. I have somewhat narrow feet and I feel like these fit like a glove - they might not work for women with wider feet.
