These are great shoes for neutral runners who need a little extra cushioning. I under-pronate and have high arches, so these shoes are well suited for my foot type and my gait. While there is good cushioning, it is not mushy or too soft. This gives the shoes a firm, responsive performance. There is mice room in the toe box. They are narrow, but not tight throughout the length of the shoe so there is no slippage or sliding. The heel is nicely snug in the back, so no blisters. I also like the Mizuno wave plate technology to help distribute the force of impact, reducing stress on knees, hips and back.

I just received these shoes yesterday but I have to say that the Mizuno Wave Enigma are great looking shoes that have a really impressive design. These shoes are comfortable, light, and extremely supportive to the feet. I knew these were quality shoes as soon as I put them on and so far I am very satisfied with my purchase. Bought these shoes at a running store after trying on every neutral shoe in the place. These feel great! They have the arch support and fit you need if you have high arches. A little on the heavy side but great cushioning and never an ache after a run. Don't really dig the black color but they have a cool blue now.
Brands I'd also recommend: Nike Air Pegasus

This is my second pair of Mizunos. They are pricey but are made very well of high quality materials. This pair, as my previous pair, fit perfectly. I am very much into taking care of my feet and it is important that I wear a shoe that is 'orthotically' correct. The toebox is comfortable. The arch support is strong. They are stylish... I live in Denver, so everyone calls these my Bronco shoes. They are lightweight but substantial in build... no flimsy material or construction. Highly recommended. My test of a truly good shoe is forgetting that you have them on.

After trying many different pairs of running shoes these were just great. I tried Brooks Ghost 4, Brooks Glycerin, the Wave Runner 15 and Wave Runner 15 wide width. This shoe had what all of them didn't but isn't 100% perfect. I would have preferred a tighter heel but I learned to tie the laces so it would be more snug around the ankle. Pros: Wide toe box, sock like feel. Great forefoot cushioning...as good as the Glycerin without the squishy feel. Cons: buy 1/2 size up and the heel could be more snug like the Wave Runners. Overall: Totally responsive well-cushioned shoe that will give you an effortless stride. Well worth the money!
