This is my 4th pair of Elixirs covering three generations. They are hands down the best combination of cushion, light weight and responsiveness for me. I have tried several other shoes but always end up back with these.

I am an overpronator with flat feet who runs 15 - 20 miles per week. I've been running for the past two years in Asics 3030's but was looking for something lighter. I tried several minimalist shoes but they just don't work with my feet. The Elixir is certainly not in the minimalist category but is lighter and feels faster than what I have been running in. They do not have the cushion of the 3030's and so I have had to transition into these. Overall I've been very happy with this shoe.
