Fantastic! This is my second pair of Mizuno Wave Creation 9 shoes. My third pair of Mizunos. I have tried every kind of running shoe and these are by far the best. I am training for a 1/2 marathon and needed a new pair of running shoes half way through my training. I took the shoes out of the box put them on and ran 8 miles. No blisters, no discomfort. Thought I would have to "break them in" but didn't. Worth every penny! I normally wear a size 6 shoe but wear a 7 in Mizunos.

Mizuno Wave Creation 9 - Great shoes, always buy Mizuno. I didn't keep this pair for only one reason, I kept another Mizuno pair that provided a tad more stability. Don't get me wrong, these were very good, too. I need a pretty firm stability shoe for my almost flat feet. I work out at least 4 times a week for approx. 90min. They usually last me about 4-6 months. Always get Mizunos at least 1/2 size larger than your regular shoes. Like if you normally wear an 8 1/2, get at least a 9.

This is the last pair of Mizunos I will buy. Honestly, for the price, should they not last longer than 2-3 months? I run a little heavy on the outside of my feet, run approx. 20 miles/wk, and weigh 120... the outside front wears down too quickly for the $$.

Good running shoe - I have really just started running this fall and I purchased this shoe from some recommendations from people I work with who are runners. I have not been disappointed yet. Good cushioning and arch support. Overall seems to be a good shoe.

I love these shoes! I bought these with less than two weeks to a half marathon. I had only a couple of days to break them in and then ran 13.1 miles. My feet felt GREAT when I was done. No blisters, rubbing, chaffing, NOTHING. I love these shoes and plan to get another pair as soon as I run through these. I finally found a running shoe I love and I have gone through the best of them!

Mizuno Shoe - I love this shoe, it is more comfortable than my previous walking shoes because the way the heel is made and it gives me more cushion when I walk. I walk 6 to 8 miles every day and I would recommend these to anyone wanting a good walking shoe.

Love this shoe! This shoe was sold out in every place I looked - except here. And Zappos had my size - 11 - AND I received the shoes the next day at no extra charge! I was amazed and very pleased! Very nice looking and very comfortable, too.

Not enough cushioning up front - I bought these shoes looking for a light-weight shoe that had superior cushioning for pavement running. While the shoe looks great, it is a little tight, even though I bought a half-size up from my normal size. Also, while the heel cushioned well, I could practically feel the road in my upper foot, there was so little cushioning. The arch support is great, but overall, compared to the Adidas Adistar Cushioned 6; it is not the best shoe if you want a lot of cushioning and comfort. I've turned this shoe into my regular gym shoes.

Running with brick shoes - If you like the feeling of bricks attached to your heels & arch, these shoes are for you! I run 4-5 miles/4 days a week. I have a very normal foot (normal arches, normal width, size 8). Prior to purchasing these shoes, I ran in Saucony. I've tried to give the Mizunos a chance -switching between the Saucony and Mizuno. The Mizunos definitely slow me down with the heaviness and harness of the arch and heel support. The look is brilliant, but I'll stick with Saucony for comfort and speed.

I wasn't aware what a difference the right shoe for under-pronators could make. My shin splints are gone and the pain I would get in my knee after a few miles has stopped. Great steady shoe (I run on packed dirt trails) and very lightweight. They do run small, so I ordered a 1/2 size bigger than usual and they just fit - if I had gone a full size they would be too big in the heel area (slipping). I also have a high instep so they are snug in that area - but not so much that it causes a problem. Check the soles of your current running shoes to see where they wear out the most - that will tell you if you under or over pronate & then you can buy the right shoe.

Runner - They often change the running shoe so that I can no longer wear the same brand/style; however Mizuno has done a nice job keeping the Wave Creation consistent. The only thing I have a small issue with is a little heel slippage, but it is not always noticeable.

A bit too heavy - I just returned these shoes as they were too heavy. I have higher arches and need a wider toe box. I felt that these shoes were great looking, but not all that great on. For cushioned shoes, they are heavy and in my case, they ride up at the heel when walking or running.

Best Shoe I've Ever Owned - I have high arches; my running club recommended this shoe but was told to buy one size larger (shoe runs small) it fits great and my running has actually gotten better. This shoe has great spring too!

Great for people with high arches - I love this shoe! They are perfect for my high arches and they look great, too! I have never had a pair of Mizunos that I didn't like! I would definitely recommend this shoe.

LOVE for Mizuno’s! I used to wear the Wave Rider but decided to upgrade to the Wave Creation and was very pleased. This is a great shoe for someone with a high arch. It has excellent shock absorbency and fits very well. The toe box is not too narrow, which I had experienced in the past with other brands of shoes. I've been wearing Mizuno running shoes for at least 4 years now and will not wear another brand. I'd definitely recommend the Wave Creation, as well as all other types of Mizuno shoes, to everyone. Don't forget about their clothing!!!! :)

Wave Creation is always awesome - I have been wearing Mizuno Wave Creation since 2004, and I have never been disappointed when I upgrade to a newer version. Wave Creation 9 is no exception. Fits great (I am usually an 8 or 8.5 in shoes, and for these sneakers it's 8.5) and I like the new design of the laces/tongue and how it fits into the heel of the shoe. The one thing is it's a bit flashy for me, with a lot of silver and mesh; but I still think they look great overall. Definitely worth the money!

These shoes are great! You have to lace them pretty tight or they feel like they come loose. They are really great walking or running shoes.

Curious problem - I love the look of these shoes, but a curious problem developed after only a couple days of wear with the left shoe. It' as if the shoe developed a wrinkle on the top right where the ball of the foot begins, or where the laces end and the front material begins. You can't see it, but it presses down on the foot, making it uncomfortable to wear these shoes except with thick socks. Note: I am wearing small plastic partial orthodics inside. I wouldn't think that would cause this problem (if so why no problem with the other shoe), but who knows. I suspect part of the reason is the rather strange (at least to me) construction and materials used in the shoe. If you purchase I would wear them inside a day or two with thin socks to see if there is a problem. Then you could still return and not, like me, be stuck with them. I went back to wearing my Asics trail shoes till I can afford to get another replacement pair. What a relief not to have that crinkle pressing down on my foot.

Great shock absorber and runner - I'm usually a person who likes to try new shoes to see what's out there but in the case of running, I stick to what I know and like which are Mizunos. These new kicks are awesome, like the Wave Creation 7 and 8 decided to have a kid and the hybrid just beat everyone out of the water. Comfort and flexibility great, lighter and more shock absorbing. Must buy.
