I am a group fitness instructor. One of the classes I teach is a very high impact class with bootcamp style moves. I do a lot of side to side movements along with running. Lots of jumping lunges and squats. These shoes are amazing. I feel great support and the shoe is built to last. My feet feel light in this shoe, but supported. These shoes are not only great for running, but also a great workout shoe. I am typically a size 8 in a dress shoe. I wear a 9 in all Mizuno shoes. If you are looking for great support and a light shoe, this is it!

I bought a pair of these on eBay because they were much cheaper than list price. When I first got them, they fit ok. They seemed to feel good in the toe box. I am a nurse and am constantly on my feet. My past five pairs of shoes have been asics nimbus or cumulus. Anyway. I tried these. They suck. You're paying for Nike shox. They are stiff and have no give in the heel. Forefoot rubber/ support is minimal. The Achilles notch literally ground my ankle socks into my skin and I often had blisters on my heel- yet I had plenty of toe room. The shoes fit. They're just terrible. They breathe well and the toe box is roomy. But after 4 months, I had to buck up and buy different shoes-my ankles and feet started to hurt. Also- I'm not obese. I'm 6'3 and 215 lbs. I switched to a pair of brooks Ravenna and my feet and ankles stopped hurting following my first shift in the new shoes. Bottom line- they look cool. Don't waste your money.

I searched for a long time before ordering these shoes, but bought them because of the good reviews I read. I absolutely love these shoes. They are the most comfortable shoes that I have ever owned. I am ready to buy another pair in a different color. They felt great the moment I put them on. The heel fits my foot perfectly. They provide perfect arch support. I wear an 8½ shoe and these have plenty of room for my toes. I actually wear a second pair of socks to take up some of the extra space. I think the thing I like best is when I walk in these shoes, I feel like I am bouncing, there is so much absorption in the soles of these shoes. The design of the soles gives my feet so much shock absorption. It is a pleasure walking in these shoes. I definitely can recommend these shoes. I teach Zumba and wear these shoes in my class. They are great for Circuit Training, walking or dancing!

I switched to this shoe from a minimalist style shoe. Minimalist shoes just weren't for me! Overall, I really like the shoe, but I found them to run smaller than my other Mizunos (Elixir). In a standard everyday shoe, I almost always wear a 7.5. For running, I usually wear an 8 because my feet swell in the hot Houston summer. In this shoe, I really should have returned the 8 for an 8.5, but I was just too fed up with my Altra Zero Drop shoes to wait another day! I only have two complaints about the shoe...the shoelaces are too "waxy." They do not stayed tied. You must double-knot them. Also, the area below the heel is hollow, so it fills with wet grass and mud. I have to use an old toothbrush to clean it out. I do not run on trails, but for some reason, I still get an accumulation of "muck" in the heel! I'm glad this shoe comes in a subtle color. I do not like flashy running shoes. I'm a 46-year-old wife and mother who does not want wacky shoes. Save the crazy colors for the 20-somethings.

This is my second pair of these shoes, same color and everything. I love these shoes. Best running shoes I've ever had, well worth the price. I do not like the colors of the new version, I will keep ordering these until I can't find them anymore. I didn't start running until I was 49 years old and these shoes help me not to have shin splints and other aches and pains that made it difficult to run. Lovethese Mizunos.
