I took to finding the perfect shoe with relentless determination. I discovered there is no such thing as a perfect shoe but several really great shoes. I will never be a pro athlete but I will try to keep my blood pressure, cholesterol and sugar within normal and thank goodness I don't have to be a pro athlete to achieve my goals. I walk and bike and use the treadmill to jog. I use 3 different types of Brooks and have added the Mizuno. Personally I have discovered I need more than one type of shoe. Some days I am a heel striker other days I am not,some days I over pronate somedays I don't. The shoes are pricey,but for me monthly medication would be more costly. And in defense of the shoes there is a lot of technology we are getting for the price. However I wish more shoe companies would add "narrow" and "wide" options. Lastly socks are so important, I have great shoes and was wearing my husbands old socks, so I spent a few weeks researching socks with relentless determination.

Way to go Mizuno! What a come-back after last years disaster of Wave Creation 12. If you strayed to another shoe, rejoice in the better than ever Wave Creation 13. This is the shoe that makes you love Mizuno. Stability, comfort, and light are all in this shoe. Love!

I decided to splurge and get the updated version of my Mizuno first love: Wave Creation 11, but was disappointed with the comfort of the 13 version. They are great stability shoes for my high arches and everyone has loved the color and style. They are okay to run in but after a week of running I was surprised to see that I had a blister! I have been running in my WC 11's for over a year and worn holes in the soles.

I bought these Mizuno Wave Creation 13 in sangria for my 23 year old daughter. She absolutely loves them. They have excellent arch support and fit like a glove. They run half size small. She wears a 7 so I ordered her a 7½. Those fit perfectly! The width is true to size. Get them, you will not go wrong. Thanks, Zappos, I ordered them Tuesday night at 8:00 PM and got them Wednesday. Zappos, you are the best!

Awesome shoes, fit perfectly! I own another pair of Mizuno's, they run small, I usually wear an 8, these are 8 1/2. Great support for cardio. Lots of compliments at the gym on the cool pink color. I'm mid 40s...

Love the fit of these shoes. They have extra room in the toe box, but they're not so wide that the shoe is loose on the front of the foot. They also fit nice and snug on the heel. I have bursitis in my feet and have had no pain when walking/running in these shoes. I did use the precision fit tool on the Mizuno website to find the best shoes for my feet. One note about the color; I have the Sangria color and the pink does bleed onto my socks when the shoes get wet.

These are the best. I have suffered with plantar fascia (sp) and heel pain on my right foot. I also am in the medical field and on my feet all day. After reading reviews and praying that these work, I received them and from the minute I put these on they felt awesome and no more painful right heel and I can actually run a little with no sore knees or ankles! I have wide feet and these work, I love the color-pink! I just ordered my second pair! Worth every penny!

Great color, good room in toe. Heel is too deep so that the shoe rim sits on my ankle bone. Too bad. Would have loved to keep them, but know I will end up with a blister there.

The Mizuno Wave Creation 13 is the best running/walking shoe I have ever purchased. It is light and you feel like you are walking on air. It is well worth the money! Zappos had it to my door exactly as they had indicated.

Every year I buy a couple of running shoes. I don't run, but need the cushion as I do walk a few miles each day. I saw this Mizuno Wave Creation 13 recommended in a magazine. WOW! I have been wearing them every day all day since I received them a week ago. They are so comfortable-- as if molded to my foot! These shoes are working out great for the gym, walking, and every day standing on my feet at work. Who knows? Maybe I'll try running in them! You absolutely need to order half size larger. I highly recommend these shoes. I am planning to buy another pair and toss out all of the other sneakers in my closet that I keep rotating as it seems there is no cushioning left in a very short time despite buying added insoles.

Love these shoes! No break in period with these. I did go up 1/2 size and they fit great. I wear a different pair when on the treadmill because the soles are a little slippery...awesome for outside runs. First time for me with Mizunos...now I am hooked. Worth the money.

The jury's still out on this one: The wave creation 11 was wonderful but my right foot (the oversupinating then overcorrecting foot) got a terrible blister on the base of the big toe because the width and support at the toe box wasn't sufficient. This was corrected with the 12, which I've worn through two pairs (and indeed, when the blister returns it's time for a new pair.) I like the 13 - it's lighter and a bit better balanced, but so flexible that I worry it will wear out fast and I will soon have that dreaded blister. However, in the meantime it is a good update to the 12; possibly a bit more like the 11 in feel. I am high arched supinator, I wear a 7 in street shoes and an 8 in running shoes and these are true to that sizing. I have a narrow heel and a wide toe and the wave creation in general fits well to my foot. No major changes to this model in fit. Because of my high arches I use Superfeet insoles, so I am not rating the arch support provided with the shoe. As for colour, ugh, what nasty options but I suppose as runners we can always just run through a few mud puddles... The shoes I currently alternate with these are the Asics Nimbus, still pining for the old Saucony triumph 5-6 but unfortunately it's morphed into something unusable.

These are sick! Not only do they look amazing but they also have amazing support on both sides of the foot. I was a hard core Adidas gel nimbus and tried several other brands but none were ever as comfortable as the Nimbus but I believe I have found a shoe just as great, possible even better! The toe box is a little more roomy than I would like but not sloppy as Brooks Glycerines...the fited arch support and heel keep my foot from feeling sloppy even though I probably could have sized down 1/2 a size. I wear and 8 in the Asics Gel Nimbus and these were slightly more roomy but perhaps a 7.5 would have given me a blister as the 7.5 Wave Creation 12's gave me, these seem to feel a little wider in the toe box but fit fine with regular socks. Long story short, I love them! They are awesome!

First of all, I love this shoe. Wish I could live in them, because they are so comfortable. Do order up 1/2 size. I usually wear 9 (1/2 size large than normal street shoes), but got these in 9.5 and they fit perfect. Also, my foot runs on the narrow side and these are good.

I had a pair of running shoes that were alright. I wanted something that was cute and worked for me. I found a site that did an evaluation of the amount of running I did and how I placed my feet (heel first, toe first, etc.). This shoe came back as a recommended shoe. I ordered the shoe got it the next day (of course) and have been running in it since. This is a lightweight shoe that is cute. I was able to wear it immediately without issue - no break in time at all. I am very happy with the style, the fit, and the performance.

Love these shoes! I have planters fascia and when I wear these my heel doesn't hurt! They are great, great support, great color, bright fuchsia pink without being obnoxious! I would highly recommend these!
