It broke in after only a few days and it wasn't very stiff when I first started wearing it. It is wide enough where I can catch comfortably and still feel it snug on my feet when I'm running the bases.

Zappos was great, the first set of shoes was wrong size, shipped back for free and sent new pair with no shipping charge. The cleats are great with extra material where my daughter drags her foot when pitching. The added color patches are cool to accesorize the shoes.
