I only tried on one other brand before purchasing, and I was happy this one didn't "roll down" easily. It's not going to give you a perfect figure, but it will definitely smooth things out and still let you breathe.

Excellent elasticity. Be sure to get proper size as if the garment is too small it will cut uncomfortably into skin. I did get proper size and it is comfortable. However, bringing me down 10 lbs? No, this did not occur, just overall smoothing.

This item was featured with swimsuits and I thought it was a swimsuit bottom. It's not. It's just a panty: I was very disappointed with this mistake. Fits fine but can't be worn as a swimsuit.
