Great design and nice material. I bought this shoe to be an indoor shoe for my daughter at school. For that reason, it is nice to find a style without the hard sole since they sit on the floor a lot and so can sit on their feet any which way just like they are barefoot. However, the shoe fits very narrow. My daughter has pretty average feet -- not too wide, too thick or too narrow or too long, but these mocs are too snug around the ball of the foot also, the foot pad inside is very narrow. I was so disappointed. Even though i ordered a size up, she is almost falling off the inner liner. The length size seems bigger than the width size. Too bad. Otherwise, such a cute and comfy shoe. If your kid has thick feet or wide feet, this style probably won't work.

I got these for my two boys, who are six and eight years old for Christmas. They love them and wear them all the time. They rarely wear shoes in the house and were wearing out their socks, so this was the solution. My oldest complained that they were tight at first with thick socks, but I encouraged him to wear them for a while and that they might stretch out. He finds that each time he puts them on they initially feel snug, but that as his foot works into the shoe within a few minutes they feel great (he runs a medium to wide width due to a very high arch). Both boys love how they look and mom loves that their socks are not getting new holes daily. my boys love wearing Timberland hikers and the sizing on these was similar to how the Timberlands fit them. I must also add that I had a pair of these as a kid and I could not wear them out!

My daughter needed these for a play she is in. They are pretty cute and comfortable for her. The only problem is the zippers won't stay up. It would help to have a hook closure or something else at the top.
