These are really great looking shoes that are comfortable following the initial break-in. I have learned that Merrells tend to be a half size smaller than other shoes so I have already included that fact in my remarks. These shoes did need to be broken in on my left foot where the top edge of the shoe above my arch rubbed hard. This has subsided now.

I bought this waterproof shoe to wear touring in London.The waterproof aspect of the show worked well. I like the shoe but the back edge by the heel continues to rub in an irritating fashion. I thought they would break in but the situation as only improved a little bit. I would hesitate to wear them all day without bandage or cushion protection on the back of my heels.

These fit well, and look good. I wanted slip on waterproof shoes. These are the best that I have been able to find - in quality, appearance and fit.
Brands I'd also recommend: none i can think off right now. you know the competing brand. they just don't offer a good looking wp shoe.

This is a great shoe. I am inclined to wear it even when weather conditions do no warrant doing so. The sole provides good traction on wet surfaces and the styling works well with casual attire.

Nice looking shoe, can be worn for many occasions. Had two compliments in two days. I use it for work and walking the dog, nice to have water proof shoes. Wore them to a concert last night. Moving right to the head of my favorite shoe.

Comfortable and warm but the quality control on waterproofing is poor. I've gone through two pairs so far. The first pair the right shoe leaked the first time I wore them in the rain (third time I wore them overall). I returned those to Zappos and ordered another pair. This time, the left shoe leaked immediately. Both times the leak came in from the toe.

I decided to try a casual slip-on for work and it's hard to go wrong with Merrell. Took maybe a week to get used to them and been wearing them every day since. Picture is spot on, size was just right, great shoe!
