- 400 grams of Opti-Warm™ lightweight, low-bulk, synthetic insulation keeps your feet and toes pleasantly warm.
- Merrell ColdProof™ Ortholite® footbed and Active Heat™ insole with silver reflective film for added warmth.
- Molded nylon arch shank and air cushioning in the heel help to absorb shock, provide support, and add stability.
- 6 mm lug outsole provides grip and traction for extreme winter sports.

The color of these boot in Boulder is nothing like the actual boot. The boot is actually olive green, not tan or sandy colored.

Without getting to try shoes on before buying it always feels like a risk. Turns out these are better than any other boots I've ever worn. They're perfectly comfortable like a nice pair of sneakers, and they hardly weigh anything. I hate when boots feel like you have bricks tied to your feet. Merrells have worked out well for me in shoes, and now I'm hooked on their boots.

The toe of the shoe curves upwards drastically. Where my toes were in the shoe, the shoe did not touch the ground. Walking was awkward on level ground. The styling and quality of the shoe were excellent, but the inability to walk in them was a deal breaker and I ended up returning them.
