I concur with the other reviewers that these shoes run big, so order 1/2 size down. They were perfect for our trip to Maui, and I'm sure I'll get a lot of use out of them. A nice addition to my lean but practical sport shoe selection (my other faves being Salomon's with Gore Tex, perfect for colder weather). I can't comment on how these will wear as they are still brand new, but the looks, etc. and functionality are tops. As a Zappos VIP member, Zappos achieved the impossible and got these shoes to me the next day when I ordered as late as 4 p.m. They weren't able to guarantee that Herculean feat, but I was pleasantly thrilled when I received the shoes the next day, less than 12 hours later. Nothing short of incredible!

These shoes are great! They definitely go 1/2 size large: Every pair of shoes I've ever worn until these were 7.5, but an 8 fit me perfectly. They lace up and down really easily, which is great for me as a college student, because I just wanted something which I could wear everywhere and looked great, and it doesn't take any time when I'm late for class to dress up. Every day I'm excited to put them on, because they feel so great. The fabrics they're made out of are durable and feel good to the touch. The sole is well made, and very comfortable. It doesn't force my foot to do something it doesn't want to. They're really comfortable, so I wear them when I'm lounging around, but they can also lace up tight, so I play sports in them as well. The only concern I have, is that with the complicated lacing system, there are little stress points which I could see failing pretty quickly. When I walk, the laces pull on these particular parts, and the fabric is fraying (though they only started fraying after about a month of continuous use). Very breathable, comfortable, and stylish. Great shoe if you're willing to spend the money.

I really like the look of these shoes. The fit is pretty good, too. Although after wearing them for about a week, they squeak pretty bad.

Good water shoe. Use it for deep water aerobics: lightweight, drains well, and comfortable sole. Have had two pairs of the Waterpro before, but this new version seems to be sized differently. Wore a size 9 in the prior version because they ran narrow. Wear a size 8 1/2 in the new version because they run wide.

I love these shoes! I actually got them for Parkour, though I'm not sure they are snug enough on me for that. I have size 10 1/2 narrow foot, and it's always a challenge to find shoes that fit. These fit me in 10 1/2 after I used the extra adjustments to fine tune the fit. They are lightweight and great looking. They are great to kick around in.

Fantastic shoes! I bought these for a trip to Maui where I did a lot of hiking. I was in and out of the water, on slippery rocks and through muddy,wet forests. These shoes were not only comfortable, but provided great traction and dried out quickly between hiking trips.\r\n\r\nThe shoes are comfortable both with and without socks and don\'t require a break-in period. I normally wear a size ten, but bought a half size smaller per the other reviews. Good choice - I recommend a half size smaller too!

I love the style and they are comfortable but the stability is not what my other Merrells are. If you go hiking in them be aware of your footing. I get a lot of compliments about how good they look and I really like how airy they are. I stepped into the lake while I had them on and they didn't dry off quickly like I thought but I like them enough to say I would recommend.

I purchased these shoes to wear on my two week vacation in Hawaii. We did moderate hiking on rocky and loose dirt terrain, and through shallow water. These shoes were great! They have fantastic traction on all types of surfaces and dried quickly after becoming wet. I wore them without socks, and they were very comfortable and did not cause any blisters. The arch support was good and they fit very well for my narrow foot. Also, they were pretty stylish. I highly recommend them for water to land walking/hiking.

The shoes are cute! I am petite and have big feet so I love it when a pair of shoes decides to help me hide their size. I bought these shoes to go trekking around a new city for a week. My feet were comfortable and dry, which is really something as I have a condition called hyperhidrosis (which just means my feet are always sweating, hence the aqua shoe to wear while touring a new place!). The only thing about them is that they make an odd sound when the laces are pulled tight, kind of a leather on leather noise. Oh, and I wear thin socks, but the shoes seem to run a little wide.

These shoes are incredible! My boyfriend & I bought these shoes for an outdoor adventure vacation. We wanted one pair of shoes to do everything: hiking, rafting, mountain biking, ATV, etc. These shoes were more than we could have dreamed. They remained comfortable during the most rigorous activities. We will continue to buy these shoes every year for all of our outdoor adventures.

These are great shoes. I love them in the blue, and they're wonderful for walking. They're light, airy, and supportive. As with all the Merrells I own, seems like all I have to do is gently flip my feet forward and back, and the shoes do the walking for me! These shoes look great with jeans, and also quite cute with mid-calf-length skirts.

This is my second pair of the same style of Merrells; they're terrific. I use them kayaking and for just walking around. Really lightweight and cool on hot days. Zappos customer service is great, as always. I received my shoes quicker than I could have driven to a store!

The shoes are great - right fit, comfortable and breathable. If you wear on bare feet, the back can rub a bit when you first wear them, you may want to work them in before putting them on for a full day. Let's just say I learned that from experience. Zappos service was great too - thanks guys!

These shoes are fantastic! They are comfortable and sturdy! I ordered a half size smaller based on previous reviews and they fit perfectly with or without socks. My only complaint is that they still let small rocks in, but I use them on a man made "beach" at a dog park that has a thick base of pebbles, so I'm not sure any shoes would keep all the rocks out.

Fabulous shoes! These shoes adjust to fit your feet. The laces pull on the ribbons which zig-zag around the shoe so it tightens, or loosens everywhere. I have fit issues with a damaged foot and very few shoes are tolerable. These are perfect for me, and I am buying two more pair, from Zappos, of course. More, my camp lot is squishy because of the rain we've had this summer. These shoes seem to dry instantly. They hold their shape and are as comfortable at the end of the day as the beginning. And they look sleek. They make me look like a runner, even though I am far from it. I couldn't be happier with these shoes.And they accomodates a 3/8 inch high orthotic on one foot without any slippage of the heel.

Uncomfortable. Way too wide. I originally ordered the 9.5 even though I always wear a 10. The other reviews said this shoe ran large. Not true. Then I ordered a 10 which was very wide. No cushioning on the sole. Extremely uncomfortable shoe, which shocked me since it was a Merrell. I will be returning both pairs.
