Cute--but had to return. The calf width is a scant 15 inches on size 7.5. I need 16 inches. Also--hard to get foot into the boot and I have a low arch. Once in, it was OK.

Thank you, Merrell, for making size 10.5! These boots feel great on and have a very urban, yet rugged look. Comfort is the main reason I go to Merrell - no disappointment here. They zip up snugly over my tucked in jeans, but I am a sturdy girl, so I think they are wide enough for all normal calves.

I love my Merrell Vera Peak boots. I bought them in brown. They are a perfect fit. If you plan on wearing thicker socks with them go a half size up. I normally wear an 8 1/2 and went up to a 9. They look great with a skirt or dress and perfect with a pair of jeans.

Love these! I have flat feet and bunions and need a good support. These fit like a glove. Can walk all day and feel great. Also, very stylish!

I was really hesitant when I ordered these boots because they didn't look like a lot of the "Fashion" riding boots that I was looking for. However, these boots are amazing. Great traction but not clunky, super cute - works with all types of pants and skirts and really comfortable. They are the perfect combination of fashion and practicality. I have narrow feet so they fit perfect but if you have a wider foot it might pinch on the sides.

I already own the Merrell Tetra Launch and love them. (I have had them for two years and they are still perfect.) That said, I was disappointed with this boot. It is too wide in the calf and appears a tad awkward. The heel is also tight, another problem that I never had with the Tetra Launch. Thus, I must return.

I bought both black and brown size 11 medium Vera peak boots. They are stylish comfortable and have the traditional Merrell arch I love. Continue the excellence!
